I was thinking of you while driving to work this morning listening to Blunderside.

Burnsy was talking to Andy Comfort about what was coming up on his show later and the conversation moved onto a story about a elderly womens choir in Stoke and Andy Comfort went into one about how much he hated Stoke, the people in Stoke and everything about Stoke.

You're not Andy Comfort are you? <laugh>

... the only saving grace about where I work is that it is a couple of miles or so outside Luton town centre - have to say Luton as a town is not particularly attractive ...

Saffron Lane! **** me filberto never seen a good egg come from that **** hole! Birds round there will get their keks down in a jiffy though, so at least there's one positive.

Probably neutralised by the fact they look like they had their faces moulded by a rusty shovel. Still any holes a goal and all that...

The natives tend to pronounce it with a silent 't' ............ phonetically it's "Loo-un" ... which seems somehow appropriate ...

Is Letchworth the place that has (had?) that Christmas shop that is (was?) open all year round?

Which makes the paltry 1, 753 you brought to the KC stadium on Boxing Day seem all the more pathetic.

You bought 1.4k to the King Power though?

In all fairness, we've always had a good following in the Cup.

Last season, from 3 away games we averaged 4000 in our away games and that includes our trip to Norwich where we were deemed 'high risk' and were only allowed 2k.

If I never hear another attendance stat, I'll be a happy man, it's gone beyond tedious now.

Yeah it was a very early season Sunday game (Leicester RU at home on the Sat probably). Boxing Day is a big occasion and it was an important game for you.

    Bad weather forecast that day?

.. perhaps you should do the place up ... some nice raffia work seat mats and a lick of paint - how about a fuchsia and lemonade theme ... anything to make it a little more pleasing on the eye?

It was 7 games in and was still a day off work. No excuses.

I was there boxing day and I can only assume people thought their own home would be a better place to be on Boxing day rather than Hull.

Perhaps a mural of a dreary gasworks to remind you of home?
