Sorry to harp on about it.. I'd like three additions to the club.. Quality LB cover for Jose A midfield destroyer to backup Lucas, and That quality #10 (I could be wrong, but are Ince and Coutiniho the #10 we are looking for, I dobut it..)
Question: do we really need a 'number 10'? surely the nature of rodgers' 4-3-3 is to have an anchor man and two box-to-box/deep lying playmakers with the interchanging front 3 ahead of them - in that formation there isn't a place for a traditional number 10 and I can't see rodgers wanting to change his system for one
Not seen the guy play (nor do I play FIFA), is this guy any good? I guess for £3.5 (or is it Euro's) its a risk worth taking for an understudy to Lucas??
It indeed is cheap, I sometimes think like why don't we bother with these cheap quality players? It's like it's in an LFC ritual to ignore the cheap quality players and buy overpriced English crap?

Coutinho has never even looked like living up all the hype about him and if we are going to sign him I think a loan deal would be the smart option for us. He looks really bad in the Italian league so im not convinced he would be any better in the prem.
I have been asking this question to. I was thinking of making a thread for it. Henderson is coming on fantasticly and Suso is progressing well. Right now I see left back and right wing as they place to add talent (and experience!).
dunno.... first i have to see how sturridge and suarez line up. we could play "narrow" and one in behind those two rahter than a 4-3-3 with guys really wide. I'd like that more than the way rodgers started out this year. lets see how he lines up. I do agree with adding a power player in midfield and that left back slot is at issue. BUT either we are going to put a player like enrique or lucas out or buy a reserve. we need to find the right guys if they are either.
I'd take Diame over Sissokho any day. He's proven himself in the PL. Totally underrated player. Exceptionally strong, ruthless tackler and has much pace than Lucas. For 3.5 million it's more than a bargain. He could be a very good backup for Lucas. A good dribbler and has a ferocious shot, could be really useful in games where we are trailing, when we need that extra physical presence in the box. He had a brilliant game against us, shame we didn't go for him last summer when his contract was up.
