You can't have a Yes without a No, a black without a white or you end up with uuummmm grey.

IMO I think we all know who wears the grey trousers on this little online book

As for Timmy Mallet aka Swords he is the bloody board the same I see the super Imaz ... It's has to be balanced and the reason I drift.

That's why I love to read Flyers posts

We respect everything in the end

It may take time but it's true

I'm breaking my sabbatical to make this one post because I just have too!

For fu*k's sake NUTS, did you just glaze over Brix' post above? :steam:

I stopped posting an hour before you posted that proposal and yet you're saying I'm chucking a wobbly over it!!! It was the same a few weeks ago when I had left two whole days without anyone noticing and then we beat Chelsea and within minutes the mob start saying I was gone because of that! <doh>

Just goes to show how easy people will believe anything if it fits their agenda. Could start a whole debate on religion etc on that, but that's for another day!

    SO LONG SUCKERS! :1980_boogie_down:

Come on mate, don't get upset. I'm sure that lots of people on here, myself included, look out for your contributions and enjoy your banter. I can think of only 2 that don't (bet they still read when they see your name though).

You have created your Forum villain persona and you should be proud of it. It's a laugh, mostly. Too many sensitive souls around. Keep calm and carry on.

    Confused......and now swords is taking a break.....but isn't......

The Three Musketeers - Swords, the archetypal pantomime villain Cardinal Richelieu, or our d’Artagnan?

Chris Hannan's bawdy reinvention chaotic at times, but with a warm festive atmosphere

"Alexandre Dumas’ legendary trio undergo a bawdy reinvention in Chris Hannan’s new Christmas play for the Traverse. It retains the story’s core characters – the eponymous musketeers, plus d’Artagnan and archetypal pantomime villain Cardinal Richelieu – but adds several silly dimensions, including a bizarre male pregnancy and an extended farting sequence.

At times, the narrative chaos is grating and the constant mild ribaldry justifies its eight years and up age recommendation. But this Dominic Hill-directed production is ultimately great fun. The energetic cast perform the riveting swordfights and occasional musical numbers with equal deftness and Colin Richmond’s expansive set is particularly mesmerising. Most impressive is the baby-eating monster Lord Mandible, portrayed by a skeletal puppet so huge it draws a few frightened gasps from younger audience members. And while parts are overdone and others drag impatiently, the joyful final scenes create a warm atmosphere that’s comfortingly festive despite its non-Christmassy setting."

Excellent summary Tramore! Add the fact that it's an OP-less thread as well and the summary would be perfect.

FOOTNOTE: Interesting that Kilburn's photo of Fenlon actually bears some resemblance to our NUTS. Fenlon's a wee bit older and uglier but I did double-take when I first saw Kilburn's post. Question is, how did Swords mistake Fenlon for NUTS or vice versa, in the first place. SPOOKY!

Swords, you really are a plonker. Read back through the thread again. Brix mentioned in his thread that you were going to take a break because YOU felt that YOU were pissing people off. All I said was that I could not see how you were doing that. FFS I was defending you. I have no agenda with you or anybody else. When you show respect to others and argue your point without personal insults, I enjoy your posts as much as everybody else. My offer to meet you for a few pints was genuine. Something tells me I have already met you though. Would I be right?

Sorry Brix, but I look nothing like Pat Fenlon at all. Not even nearly mate.

I have just replied to Swords and am giving him a chance to respond before I close this ridiculous thread.

Sorry NUTSY, must have just got lost in translation. A lot of weird sh*t going on on this thread.

I'm off for a week or two after this because I get the feeling that I'm just one silly remark away from a lifetime ban! And for that reason alone. The boys giving me stick is great, that's what its all about. They're a great bunch of lads - even COL and Imaz! But I tend to go OTT now and again and risk my membership on here.

Now, that was definitely my last post!

But I thought you were Pat Fenlon?

Fair enough NUTS, you see your face more than I do - but I just showed the photo to the BrixtonR possee who've all met you (admittedly saying look, there's our boy NUTS) and they all went, 'oh yeah, why's his picture in there?'! So you must look a bit like him (sorry!).

Wonder what Col, Tramore, Inky and other Crown & Sceptre veterans think? Remember, I did say Fenlon's a bit older and uglier (sorry Fen!)...
