Again, random. Who said that? I reckon Wilshere would run rings round Gazza now as Gazza is a drunken old soak. Gazza WAS better than Wilshere is.
The Dutchman says that the English players in the squad found it hard to adopt the policy of going to ground easily, but that Ferguson believed that it was fair game on the continent. "It's got to the stage where he has even told us: 'Don't try and stay on your feet if you're in the box and get a slight kick," Stam revealed in his autobiography being serialised in the Mirror. "He wants us to copy other sides we face in European competitions and go down to win a penalty.
Also using Oscar as a ripost to someone mentioning perennial diver and horribly overrated Ashley Young, is sheer comedy.
Yeah but same with every player mentioned! Fans always overrate their players. Whilshere is arselicked every time he plays by pundits/media because like you said he is apparently the saviour of English footy. Johnson along with being overrated by scousers, has been overrated by England managers, Micah Richards was a muh better right back in the past and now Kyle Walker is the better option yet Johnson is always one of the first names on the teamsheet.
Overrated by fans, probably McEachran, Bertrand and Torres (although I think people admit he'a **** now). I don't think any of our players are overrated by pundits or other fans in general tbf
