.... of us having a pretty decent side IMO. Having watched the game on saturday and especially after the own goal to put them up in the first five minutes it was nice to see us fight back and go 3-1 up by half time with two fantastic finishes coming from Fletcher. I have to say I haven't really been as into it this season, even with our good run of games of later probably because we always seem to let ourselves down with performances like Bolton last week. On the bright side though I personally think things are starting to look up now for SAFC and with QPR, Fulham, Reading and Swansea all up against us in the next month or so then there is no reason why we cannot continue this run and hit the 40point mark sooner rather than later. As for the team I we are two players off a decent team that will see us through until the end of the season when I would imagine 4 or 5 new faces will be brought in then. IMO.... - Mignolet - - NEW RB - O'Shea - Mangane - Rose - - N'Diaye - Cattermole - Sessegnon - - NEW Creative Player - Fletcher - Johnson - get those players in and allow Sess abit of freedom to pick the ball up pass it about and make late runs into the box to try and grab us a few goals, very versatile team who could change to 4/2/3/1, 4/4/1/1, 4/4/2 or 4/5/1 depending on opposition and how the game is going god knows who we could get for RB but seems as though Zarate or Downing to plug the gap further up the pitch and we are looking good
Would be very surprised if MON went for another defender in this window, he has 9 options to cover the 4 positions which give him many different combinations, I think we have to see another attacking option coming in as we are very short in numbers and hopefully a bit of creativity in the middle of the park.
That looks good but we still need strength in depth with Saha,Campbell,jia and meyler gone.we have less and weak backup at the moment it seems one for one we still need more
We don't need a Rb Gardner has done well and it would cost 10m+ to get someone better, Bardo is great cover. or another creative player (Sess, AJ, Larsson.... how many do you want). We need another central midfielder (Because Catts is always injured or suspended) and a striker. So yes I agree we are 2 players short.
