I know it was a different era but Robert Fleck came straight from Rangers to us and he was a little gem of a player, you never know, Hooper could be the same (then again he might not....
Withdrawal of odds usually happens either when a move is basically confirmed (remember, they dont have insider information) It can also happen if a lot of people bet on the same outcome.
clearly there has been some money been put on hooper leaving so they've shut it talkshite were reporting that we and Spurs and maybe QPR are interested in him, obviously our link is fact (a la Mikey boy)
Ian Abraham just tweeted - Tranfer gossip - latest is there could be some sort of player/cash deal between Norwich and Celtic with Gary Hooper & Grant Holt involved very much doubt this true... And on the odds checker website i found the odds to bet on hooper???
It's hard to know who QPR are genuinely interested in as they have been linked with virtually every player that can breathe (doesn't have to be fully fit it seems) in the last 18 months where there is an outside chance that a player may be on the move.
he's too young for them Thai. on zeller's note, not the moose again. this is bound to be drivel. why on earth would we let holt go??!
I can't believe bookies actually offer odds on those markets, it must be open to all kinds of dodginess as deals approach closer, surely there must be inside information floating around that people "in the know" can take advantage of.
My mate, a die hard Swans fan put £150 on Ryan Bennett joining them last season because he had a very strong tip from someone inside both clubs that it was going to happen. In fact Ryan Bennett was already on the road to Swansea when we hijacked their bid and the rest is history! Gutted!
what i don't understand is, we are getting a new goalkeeper and he is not from Leeds. what's that all about? if they can't produce good enough players for us on a regular basis it is time they were stripped of feeder club status and returned to anonymity.
If Lappin does go to Cardiff, I hope he gets my time on the pitch! He only made 2 sub appearances during his loan. Still, I suppose that's more than he would have got with us.
and cardiff are looking good for promotion - not sure he'll get much game time next season either but you never know. good luck to the lad.
EADT reporting that Lee Camp has had a medical with Norwich, and his free transfer should be confirmed today or tomorrow. If that's the only business we do this window I'll be disappointed!
