He has been. We tend to do it via PM rather than clutter the threads up further and feeding the fool, as has happened here.
We all like to have a chat with people from other teams forums when the time is right. When transfers are happening between the two clubs or rumours of it. When we are playing each other in the near future or just after we have played each other. When there is a topic about football in general or just general conversation. These sorts of things are when I know none of us mind, but what isn't on is coming on our forum every single day, posting **** on every thread, thinking they know our club better than us and just generally being ****s. I don't know how many times we have to say it FFS.
WOW!! Careful, calv, some idiot will tell you that you're not suited to this forum, posting the truth, like that!!
Exactly the same thing is happening on the Leicester board so we really cannot take the moral high ground. I too am finding the whole business annoying as ****, but as long as people continue to bite to the wum posts then it will continue. Theads like this (which is 10 pages long) occur because people get into arguments which, as someone earlier stated, you will never win. So don't try!? Personally I enjoy visiting other clubs' boards as you learn more about them than if you stay cocooned in a Hull City bubble. Sometimes I do take part in (in my view) light-hearted banter, but I do so in full knowledge that I'm likely to get the same, if not more, back. It seems that some posters (on here and other clubs' boards) look at the identity of the poster, and not the content of the post when responding and get into a slagging match for no apparent reason. When you get into trading personal insults the possibility of "winning" any argument is gone, in my opinion. Banning posters, who do often contribute to a thread is not the answer in my view. So, to make a long story short, if you see a worm on a hook being dangled on a thread, do as the Grange Hill kids said - "Just say No".
I can't be ****ed to read all the bollocks on this thread and will no doubt get lambasted and called a *****cunt if i start another DJ Campbell thread so can anyone let me know what the latest is without slagging off the Leicester dicks / the mods / other posters?
Nothing. He still hasnt signed. For us there doesnt seem to be much rush to push it through this week as he is cup-tied anyway. A full week of training before our next league match would be good though...
Basically this thread was started by OLM, who go his info from a tweet by a guy who may or may not know DJC's agent, this guy was called Peter Smith from the BBC or may not be from the BBC. The guy OLM got the news initially from, about this guy called Peter Smith, was some guy called Rick Skelton who has a "website" that copies stuff from other sites to his own. So in other words we're pretty much at the same stage we were yesterday before this " breaking news!" Also some guy called Adolfo on the HDM chat bit says DJC's agent is at Palace. So pretty much as above. Square 1!
It's basically a thread about your supposed new signing where i've given my thoughts (after all, he's played over 40 games for my club). That equates to 1% of the thread. Then there is another 1% who are capable of decent discussion. Then there is the other 98% who constantly tell me I ruin the threads
Actually, Rick doesn't copy stuff from other sites, nor is his stuff on Hull City Online, his site is Bootferrytowembley and his match reports are excellent, he's also one of the best City fans to follow on Twitter(he also makes the odd appearance on Sportstalk and on WHCR). http://boothferrytowembley.blogspot.co.uk/
Well OLM, I'll take your word for it as when I googled the names that were mentioned on here I came up with hullcityonline.com, or something like that, I can't be arsed to go back to the point I may have posted a previous link. I also don't live in the area so can't listen to the other stuff & Twitter isn't what I would call the most reliable information source. However as I also said I found a thread from this Peter Smith guy on a QPR board when he was signing for them, so there 'may' be legs on this one. If he does sign then it's great to hear it here 1st & congrats on breaking it, but if he doesn't....
