Morning Ladies and Gents. Anyone making the trip to Villa next week? Living in Oxford this is one of the easier games for me to attend so i'll be there, still boosting my impressive record of never seeing Newcastle lose when i've been so hopefully i can change our fortunes! Should hopefully have a few new signings to see in action aswell.
Getting tired of going along the road to watch the utter dross being served up, I think I'll be giving this one a miss. It'll be the first game in a long while that I've missed but I think there'll be one or two more of the regular away supporters missing it too.
If you go and we win, then I think we'll all be clubbing together to buy you tickets for the rest of the season.
Yeah i guess if you live in the North East and you are travelling long distances and forking out lots of money to do so, only to be constantly dissappointed by awful performances then your going to reach a point where you won't want to continue going until you see ast improvement. Plus it's a Tuesday evening which is bound to be difficult for some with work commitments and what not.
Probably weaken my resolve and go, but I'll have to give it a bit more thought. More than likely go to Spurs too, at least it'll probably be a better game.
If we win, i will make it a personal mission to attend every game until the end of the season! of course if you all want to club together to fund this then i'll happily accept! Anyone know where the away fans will be gathering for pre match beverages?
Think the supporters coach got an escort straight to the ground the last time. Don't really know where the guys that travel independently go to for drinks.
Afternoon all, After a good few days for the toon, I'm feeling a slightly weird feeling I haven't felt for a while.... Optimism Signings looking promising ! Can't explain how happy I am that Saylor is back (however brief it may be) I think with the two having medicals today and one more, which would hopefully be sissoko, would leave us with a strong squad to at least stay up. Secretly thinking we could pull something out of nowhere in europe too (wishful I know !) Many of you lot making the journey to villa ? I'll be there anyway. Anywhere for drinks before the game people know ? Or will your coach be straight to the ground ? Predictions ? Also side point, can we all bring huge french flags in for the new boys !?!
Still a bit miffed we haven't got the others over that flipping line yet, but definitely more optimistic after the last couple of days
