To be honest I dont see the problem but if he bothers you then every time you see his name appear alongside a post just skip over it and ignore him. If nobody replies to him he'll soon get bored.

If posters have a problem could they PM a mod? Discussion like this on the forum clutters threads and is just fuel to the troll.

 

We were going to sign them at the end of the season anyway, best to do it now before others get their noses in (you) and it was 3.5 million. Oh and being in the top two coming into the month I wouldn't say we were 'desperate' for anything.

 

If you recognize he's a troll, why don't you do something about it?

 

At the end of the day we have got 2 players in so far on perm deals which other teams may have been sniffing around come the end of the season if they had remained on loans.

I didn't realise that next season in the PL each team will get a min of £60 million from TV - so if we can get any striker in until the end of the season, whether it is Gedo or Campbell or both to try to take us up. Then surely if we do get promoted we can use some of that money (in a wise manner) on buying better strikers if what we have aren't considered good enough

 

I agree with the majority that say if posters from other teams come on with reasonable posts then they are welcome, that is what this site is all about. If however they come on with inane comments and are purely WUM, then just ignore them, and don't take the bait and reply, they will soon get fed up and piss off.

At the end of the day.

I have my opinion which I really do believe. If you don't like that why not A) ignore it or B) respond in a fashion opposite to crying about it.

 

If you had read my later posts you would see that he has only ONCE scored more than 10 goals at a club, apart from non league sides

So no i don't think he is a 20 goal a season striker

 

Dudley is like a younger Kevin Phillips IMO, granted not as good but a similar type of player.

He may not be a one chance, one goal striker( FFS , you'd struggle to make it up) but he's a natural finisher, he will score goals.

I appreciate he may have missed a sitter against us earlier in the season, not that I can remember it, but if he was put through one on one I 'd be confident he'd score.

The same cannot be said about any of current strikers and I include Fryatt in that.
In short I'd be more than happy if he signed as he scores goals and it's always good to have a bad boy Yardie in the team.

Now, as for AKCJ.

I know a lot of people say just ignore him but it's not quite like that IMO.

An analogy;

This board is a magazine, let's say Men Only.
You buy it because you like to look at pictures of nice ladies in their natural form, that's our regular, decent posters.
You lot are beautiful naked ladies.

Thing is the pictures of the lovely ladies is now interspersed with a big fat toothless meff, that's AKCJ.

Now if the big fat toothless meff (BFTM) made the effort once in a while, put on a bit of lippy or wore some saucey underwear they'd still be a BFTM but you'd feel a bit sorry for them and let them off.
You'd skip the pages they were on and that would be that.

However if the BFTM was wearing pissy jog pants, an egg stained vest( soz Chazz) was smoking an Embassy number one, had lank greasy hair and was flicking the rods at you whilst sat legs akimbo you'd quite rightly take offence.

They've obviously made no effort and are just there to cause offence.

The above description is what AKCJ is.

After a while you'd just get fed up with having to look at the BFTM to get to the lovely ladies and stop buying the magazine.

I hope that makes sense.

In short this clown will start to drive away decent posters, if he hasn't already, due to being a BFTM and an annoying ****.

You mean like banning him like happened previously, or by working in the background with PM's rather than clog the baord up and feed the fool? At the moment, that fact people are replying means he can claim he's only discussing, when the bigger picture shows if he is, he's thick.

As Ricardo pointed out previously, while people feed him with attention like this, it doesn't help our cause.

 

I do ignore the posts already. I just think this is a good opportunity for an efficiency drive.

The threads are getting a bit long like Party says because they are filled with irrelevant stuff from opposition fans not actual valid information from people who go to our games. Maybe the more pointless ones need pointing in the direction of their own boards like this guy who says he is not a troll but writes meaningless stuff on every thread

 

What would be the point of that. The mods on this board serve themselves, not the Hull City fans that just want to post about Hull city.

This is one board that forms part of a network set up principally for cross forum discussion. Within that you should expect visitors from other boards (as that's what the network is for). In turn, they should have some consideration for the board they're posting on.
