Burkina Faso seems to be entirely bereft of teamwork. Every time they get the ball, they want to run headlong into a crowd and then blast a 35 yard shot.

Ambrose sent off for Nigeria. Still 15 minutes to play and Burkina Faso on top at the moment.

Is there a single good team in this tournament this year?

Disappointing, because I love this tournament, but the quality of play thus far has been utterly appalling. State of some of the pitches has not been beneficial, but even when this one was end-to-end, it was still fairly dull.

Not so far. And we still haven't seen Gervinho yet....

Despite having Gervinho in the team I think Ivory Coast should get to the final again at least.

To pick the 4 most worthy teams of making the semi finals, right now I'd say Morocco, Ghana, Mali and Ivory Coast. I can't see a single team in Group C that looks good enough based on today.

Wow, a dramatic end to a terrible game of football.

Yes. Burkina Faso score with the last kick of the game.

And, fittingly, the drama owed to some terribleness...great little one-two and a tidy finish, but shambolic defending to allow that ball to slowly dribble out to Traore.

Nothing like the Nigerian defence I remember from the past couple of decades. It also doesn't look like they've got a decent successor lined up for the ageing Yobo. They're fading into obscurity a little bit.

You couldn't play football on that, they did very well to try and play some sort of football. Worst pitch I've ever seen at that level of football.

Morocco v Cape Verde on ITV4. Definitely has potential for a lot of goals.

Yeah, he was pretty good once! Played 76 games for Morocco. Still playing in Qatar apparently.

These Cape Verdeans do like naming themselves after famous ex-players don't they.

Cape Verde are surprisingly good, but Morocco should be doing better with the players they have. Their forwards aren't getting into good positions at all.

Ryan Mendes looks like a great player though, sign him up!
