This window we have signed 2 & seen Ji, Saha, Meyler & Campbell leave MoN already said we were short on numbers so i can honestly see us signing another 3-4 players before Feb 1st

    But as you say who?

    I think we need

    RB
    CB
    CAM
    Forward

Really not sure if we will see anymore defenders in, I think with bards, cueller ,Kilgallon, jos, brambell, rose and the new big lad, along with back up from Colback and Gardner he has enough combinations to get through this season. That gives him 9 players to cover 4 positions , not saying we don't need them just think MON may look at different areas .

I thought Zarate had said he wasn't interested in us?

Think DG & Hooper may come in.

DG no thanks, Hooper yes much better type of player bit of a gamble seeing as he plays in the SPL but, for me anyway worth a shot.

I do not want Hooper, especially for the money being quoted.

Different sources mate but the average seems to be about 7m - 8m !

This is why there is set to be further to-ing and fro-ing when it comes to the issue of in-form Celtic striker Gary Hooper, and his transfer value. Norwich City’s offer of £5 million does seem ridiculously low, particularly when Southampton have already had an offer of £7m rejected in the past. With 18 goals in his last 21 appearances, the
English striker is only getting better.

Scunthorpe United are monitoring developments with keen interest, having inserted a sell-on clause in the deal taking him to Celtic Park where they are due 10 per cent of the fee. A figure of around £8m seems nearer the mark for Hooper, which means Scunthorpe would also benefit from a further £800,000

Bit steep I agree but, Graham will cost 5mil ish though and he is 3 years older than Hooper. Six and two threes if I'm honest would rather we left the CFs alone and concentrated on the defence with a bit of quality in.

Not looking for an argument talc but, other than him being black and white, why not DG? Proven at PL level. Hooper on the other hand is only proven in a tin pot league. The teams outside of Glasgow up there would be lucky to survive in our championship and these are the teams Hooper has been playing, whereas Graham has been scoring against Premier League teams.

I like Hooper but, IMO he's a big risk as well and Graham would be less of a risk

Been talked about for an England call up. Scored in Europe including in the Champions league. About the same age as Danny Graham.

Two seasons ago I asked on here whether or not we shoild sign DG when he was at Watford. People said no.

Now I'm asking why not GH. He is a top quality player.

How would you see both of them fitting into our first team bearing in mind the formation that MON favours and the form of Fletcher. Can you see MON really pulling out anywhere between 12 and 15 million for 2 players with one definatley warming the bench if not both.

Don't agree mate and he has only ever played against ****e defences all his career, the championship and SPL is ****e.

7m-8m is to much for an untested player, I would much rather we have Danny Graham than him.
