Good story, Boots. Would you care to suggest what mechanism makes the disparate fans of one club share a collective identity- other than their support of that club? I can understand why non-scousers might accuse us of some sort of "ethnic" characteristics but coming from a fellow native it seems an odd one. Anyway, all of us LFC fans are Norwegians, you know that.

I never go on Rawk so I can't really comment- but I have heard that the opinions on there are a bit er....narrow. I'm sure all clubs have their specialist bigots though. An open-minded look at this board would show that we all have just the one thing in common, apart from that we're a pretty mixed bunch (some more mixed up than others).
It's a different world on there mate, anyone forming a judgement on LFC solely from reading that site, would conclude that your club is somewhat....unusual I have to say that this board is largely a credit to reds, as most are knowledgable & capable of reasoned debate. It's the best board I've come across in that regard & there's no comparison in terms of quality of posters compared to say ja606.
