According to Facebook, 'Fulham Football Club has contacted The FA to complain about Manchester United discounting FA Cup match tickets for their fans.'

Am I missing something? Why are we complaining that ticket prices are being reduced?

From what I understand in the Cup both teams have to agree to a set price for tickets. May be Fulham are finding it hard to sell (allocation not returnable) and have found out ManUtd are selling at a discount.
I've paid £45 for my ticket (the price was the same for the League game), to be stuck in a seating area in the corner of Old Trafford, that is in my opinion only slightly better
than the cramped seating at Loftus Road. They are not the best seats in the stadium and I'd presume United have discounted
seats in other parts, which would normally cost more then the corner area. One season I went there I refused to sit in the seat
I was given, as my knees dug into the seat in front. But the stewards were sympathetic and found me another seat.

There is a case for Fulham to follow suit and offer tickets at the same £30 as United - okay the Club will possibly have take a hit but isn't it preferrable to get as many fans there as possible?

PS They might not even make a loss - 3000 seats sold at £30 is the same as 2000 sold at £45

Just incase people haven't been informed and are travelling on the Fulham train the times have been changed.
It will depart 11.34am and arrive Manchester 13:57pm
Return 20:45pm and arrive Euston 23:40pm.
So less time to get back from the game. So be aware the trams and trains back from the ground can have long ques.
Not sure if the station at the ground will be open after.

Last time I was there 6 years ago it was open but the queues are huge... Walked the 2 miles back in the centre but walk is not pleasant as you have to walk close to the motorway.

As for the ticket prices I think Fulham are complaining that any reduction should have been agreed and applied to our fans too...

I paid £45 for mine (plus the booking) fee which I thought was quite harsh for a cup game...

I just got a letter from the club today, and they did raise the matter of the different in prices for the United Cup game.
But in the letter they don't say what the out come was as they bought the matter first to United and then on to the FA,
because as they say they felt the competitions regulations are there to protect away fans from being overcharged.
Well done to the club they have sent £10 shop vouchers to those who went to the Cup game and thank us for our support at a difficult game.

That's a nice gesture from the club. Thanks for letting us all know about it, SuperBrian.

Yes just received the same. Was about to write about it.

Great gesture from the club irrelevant of the outcome of the complaint.
