I usually find that my two DM's pop up with a fair few goals through the season too. Think its because of having to pass the ball around the oppositions area trying to create space and then one of them will run into the space created Pisses me off when you lose the ball though, they're meant the be DM's but they're both in attacking positions along with both FB's leaving the two CB's to deal with the counter-attack Got them both on high defensive and low attacking too

 

I generally score a few from range with Benat, he's got a great strike on him.

Lucas is useless around the box however not sure why they gave him poor finishing to the degree they have. Should be around 50 something... there are league 2 CMs with higher finishing.

 

But that is realistic, there will be players in League Two that are better at finishing than him. The bit he bugs me is the way Fifa makes players better than others...make the faster! There are players in the lower leagues that are much much faster than ones in the Premier League, speed doesn't account for skill levels. On Fifa, all 'lesser' players are slower

I assume you are playing at at least world class level with that side...?

I bought Neymar in my very first career, sold all fringe players and used all my budgett o get him but it was worth it

 

In fairness the speed of the PL means that it's players probably are inherently, on average, a little faster... but I see what you mean.

There are some exceptions, say Jon Taylor at Shrewsbury, he's fast as ****e.

 

The other side of this is the ridiculous speed at which the computer controlled defenders recover. You could be in control of Neymar, Defoe, Lennon, Bale, etc with Carragher chasing and he will catch up

Personally, I don't take control of Liverpool on this version. It is too easy to win but if I increase the level I find it impossible to score, there needs to be an intermediate

Same but i get bored of winning all the time, there is no fun when it is too easy IMO. It's got to that stage with my Aldershot Town game now, I have taken them from a two star rated League Two side to a 4.5 star rated Premier League team challenging for a Champions League place and league title in my first season. Only about fifteen games in and sitting third, only a few points behind the league leaders

PS...I finished second in League two, won League One, finished fifteenth and then first in the Championship

 

So the **** stayed! not sure what happened but he stuck around. Thumped St. Johnstone in Europa league qualifying round and just getting started in the season.Starting to have an eye on any other building jobs that might come available. Had my first game with Chile, Sorted in Mids and Forwards but have no decent backs, that will be a problem.

 

Quality defenders don't matter, as long as they have a decent amount of pace

 

ermm they have neither! The old boys are crocks and terrible and the new players that are better (68-74) are regens. Only one has decent pace. But the midfield and forward are so quick and pass and move is easy with them. Vidal, Vargas, Sanchez, Medel make up my spine.

 

Yeah I was thinking of upping it to world class but I wouldn't reach the targets the board set me so id probably get fired.

 

i think you have to really fail badly to get sacked. I had it on World Class in my first career (as Liverpool then too) and I was struggling to win. About half way through the season I was languishing around twelfth to fourteenth, out of both cups and Europe. Never a peep from the board though, managed to finish fifth (I think) and didn't get sacked despite them wanting me to win everything

 

Doing well with my Brighton team. 2nd in Prem table and top of my Champ League group (beat and drew aganst Barca who got knocked out).

Selling Leandro for £50mil and also Grecco (was a 19 year old freebe I picked up last year, was amazingly quick and good at finishing but ball control and dribbling was poor so I wasn't very good with him) but City bid me £22mil after 1 year so had around £60mil to completely rebuild my team. Current team is

average bench of around low to mid 70's and just got a 4 star scout.

Playing on WC as well - I find if I score early I go on to win quite easily most of the time but if I concede firts I tend to get hammered (lost 5-0 to Sunderland recently then beat them 4-0 in the cup a few days later )

 

That is annoying as hell.

I play on WC or above depending. Ultimate team I play mostly legendary. Ultimate is too much.

 

Took the Chile job, see what you mean by quality attack but **** defence

Just played Argentina. Went 1-0 down, 2-1 up, 4-2 down and managed to get a 4-4 draw! Quality match
