Dai, do you want to remain a simpleton, or do you aspire to stupidity? Just aking like!!!!!!! Village idiot comes to mind.
So you are for stifling somebody's right to post on here? I'm sorry but I'm not, I disagree with Dai quite strongly, but I just remind you what Mick created here, and the ethos of the forum. Comment - Debate - Create / Freely Now if you want to go back to be like the BBC so be it, but I won't be a part of it !!! If you don't like what's being said either debate it or act like an adult and ignore it if you are not adult enough to comment. The problem is the reaction to Dai's posts, it's over the top and its a witch hunt, yes he doesn't help with his love affair with Brendan, but its his opinion and its about football. When it get personal is when he calls people muppets or on the other side someone calls people pricks, and tries to drag others into the argument ! Now grow the **** up and discuss football
Ha ha brilliant, it's not Dai's fault then. If anyone needs to grow the Fcuk up its Dai NOT the vast majority who disagree with his love in
Dilli he's posting something you and obviously others disagree with, in truth I do as well to an extent, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't have a right to post here! If you feel that strongly about it go and have a word with Mick and see what he thinks! No good will come of banning people and deleting comments because you don't agree with it. You were a moderator here surely you can see that ? It's just a forum, it's just virtual, hardly anybody knows anyone on here, why take it so personal ?
Because Pal it ruins a lot of threads on here and it seems it's done just for a reaction. Tiresome, don't you think?
What's tiresome is the constant bitching about his posts, yes they are outrageous at times, but if everyone agreed with everyone life would be boring. I've been arguing with Dai since the 16/12/07, he was probably the reason I joined BBC 606 to begin with. He hasn't changed in all that time, take him with a pinch of salt and argue the toss with him if you wish, but don't you see it's the ones complaining that are equally to blame in taking threads off track ? Keep to the theme of the discussion if you don't like what's been posted argue the merits of it or ignore.
The majority do, but this clown has taken to derail a lot of good threads in the past couple of days and previously. I also agree with deleting his anti Swansea posts, this is a Swansea forum and anti Swansea posts should be removed. Maybe this will the stop him from posting such views.
What's tiresome is his love posts about all thing Brenda and Liverpool. I have no problem with him postings his views on Swansea's performances etc, but I aint prepared (and neither are others) to allow him to insult ML by insisting that Brenda is a better manager than ours
So perhaps we should ask Mick to rename this forum the politically correct Swansea city forum? I mean this will surely fix everything and we only have people posting on here that agree with one another. The problem with removing posts is the outcry that will come after, I tried it as a moderator and I believe it was Norway being my biggest critic of course the thing about removing posts is that it makes the whole discussion disjointed, you remove his posts then other posts don't make sense, then maybe it comes to removing entire threads. The point is that people take the discussion off track complaining, now is this what we are discussing anything to do with the topic of the thread ?
I don't think laudrup is insulted at all, surely who is better than who is a football debate ? For me I'm rather amused by his live affair and call him on it as you can see by my replies to him about it
We are discussing the fallout to the quote posted in post #101. If such posts as that are removed, then we would be able to remain on topic and debate all things Swans. As I have said, I have no problems debating/disagreeing with others who have different opinions to myself, but Dai's insult and arrogant behaviour on here should not be tolerated, especially when others on here have been criticised for doing much less.
I agree, I find him quite entertaining on times as well. However, Dai often crosses the line by dismissing the views of others he disagrees with patronising and insulting posts.
The trouble with that is, most of us "call him" on his ridiculous comments as he makes them, and it's seen as bullying. He spouts utter crap, 95% disagree, yet it's the 95% who are slated for having a go at him all the time
Tell you what then, ask to become a moderator and do that then, you'll find that removing posts is not the answer. Also where do you stop with removal of posts ? As soon as someone is arrogant or insulting you remove the post, as soon you see something that doesn't agree with you remove the post. Pretty soon you will get complaints about about heavy handed moderation, that will lead too Comment - Debate - Create / NOT freely That will lead to even less people coming here, basically the forum is about everyone in it, Dai has been a part if it for years
The problem is that it's Dai and only Dai that continually wums. Once in a blue moon is ok but it's ridiculous now and spoiling threads left right and centre.
