Well SOD has to get the team spot on for these two games coming up,probably the most important games for us in a very very long time.
If we could take maximum points that would be a huge boost for board, management, players, and fans.

We could do with the board getting the gate packed to the rafters with some incentives.
They need to get the fans back on side,we need to get the ground rocking like last season.

A packed gate could make such a difference in our struggle to beat relagation.

Fully agree Red Robin.

Even at the risk of upsetting some season ticket holders who as avid City fans will surely see the reasoning, special very cheap deals should be done to get as many in as possible for ALL remaining home games.

While I want the children there and always agree with Quid-a-Kid, they do not make as much noise at the right times as adults (my experience at Wales v Samoa last November where 35% of crowd were children who sat there silently). so how about plenty of £10 tickets per game or two games for £20 / three games for £25.

We need some noise from adults with big lungs and a big heart for City.

I'll copy this to David Lloyd.

Good man ,i have held three sts for 15 years or so but i would be more than happy to see AG packed out two tickets for the price of one should fill both games.more noise the better i say.

Yes apart from the last 7 years living in Portugal when I see about 6/8 games a season, I've spent loads on season tickets.
But now we need some support as this relegation if it happens will have a bigger impact on City than any other I've seen in the past.
We have to stay up!

SOD would be a legend if he could save us after the crap served up so far this season.
Forest were in a right mess before he went there,he turned them around,we just hope he can do it here.

Given our overall home form this season, it's hard to see anything better than a draw with Ipswich and a defeat to Watford who are on fire at the moment. A 1 point return from the next 2 games is not nearly enough to save us.

We've then got Blackburn (A) Forest (H) Cardiff (A) and Palace (A) after which it might all be over to all intents and purposes if results continue to go with our form, as I cant see us getting more than 1 point from those games either, and by then we'll have played 33 games with just 13 left to go.

Love the ideas to fill Ashton Gate but I would love it even more if the players finally decided to get motivated to give us 2 wins.

The rubbish that has shown up on the pitch this season need to be ashamed of themselves and it's about time they showed up with their hearts. Hope Sean can get them moving at last and we all know the drop is the last thing we want.

Any new rumours for players before these 2 games?

I'm gutted by what I've seen from BCFC for the last few seasons but this one is breaking my heart. Lack of attention to detail from the top has been our undoing, and the latest action is probably too late to save the inevitable.

The whole scenario down at Ashton Gate beggars belief, what with the ongoing joke about our new stadium, and as for the non-committed players, well I rest my case.

I just hope that Sean is up for the task of getting the squad enough committed players to save us. Welcome to Ashton Gate Sean and I wish you all the luck in the world and I believe you can do it.

It's sad to say but most decisions taken, and appointments made over the last few years by senior members of the club have resulted in where we are today and Mike is right, it's lack of due care and attention, and people making appointments and decisions on a whim rather than on solid evidence.

I dont want to face the almost inevitable truth, but I believe that relegation is very likely if not a certainty for us.

However I do believe that SOD will have the ability to get us straight back up to the Championship, and in much better shape than we're currently in today on and off the field.

A successful team in L1 will also attrach better crowds than one struggling so badly in the Championship

I would much MUCH rather see us battling for a top 4 or 5 spot in L1 with crowds of 16 -18k and at least a chance of winning a game, than endure what we are at the moment.
If we were a mid table team in the championship, then fair enough, sit tight and slowly plug away at it. But this season is just one of the worst in memory.
Lets just get it over with either way.

And me, although playing the likes of Walsall or Orient compared to Leeds isn't half as attractive.

I hope rather than expect S O'D will save us this year If any one can do it I believe we have the right man in position now but there is still a lot of dead wood at AG that needs removing and we need to find some way to get our players fit I have no idea why but for the last 4-5 years we seem to have had injury after injury and when players are not injured they have assorted viruses.
There were some problems at the club before Copout came but his short tenure and KM's longer one made a problem into an ongoing disaster and believe me though I was banging the drum for S O'D I realy wanted us to suceed no matter who the manager was.
I agree with those who said that the demise of the club started when we bought Dele Adebola a good enough journeyman but we had to alter completely the way we played to accomodate him and that seemed to completely unbalance the side to the extent that the plan B hoof ball became the one and only plan A, and the fast passing game, that had served us so well until that point, just disappeared. I just hope that the players now at the Gate can adapt to that style of football again or something similar because that will bring results and the fans back.

Like me SOD was my first choice when copout got the job,we have the right man in place now to sort the playing staff out.

Reply from David Lloyd;

Hi,
Thanks for your email.
As ever, it’s a fine balance between making matches at Ashton Gate as affordable and attractive as possible for our fans, while at the same time making sure we keep the money coming in. I am sure we will be looking at getting as many fans into Ashton gate as we possibly can.
Regards

Lets hope they start sooner rather than later.More noise, passion, and fire should only spur the players on.
