Would I Lie To You Thread

This is a thread about us posters. You write up to three facts/lies about yourself and the others have to guess what, if anything, is the truth. Questions are allowed. You don't have to wait for one set of statements to be resolved before posting your statements! Marshall law baby!

Gandalf points are at stake. +10.4 pts for correctly guessing if a statement is a lie or true, -10.4 pts if you're wrong. +13.76 pts goes to the person who wrote the statement if others guess wrongly. -3.2 points for every question asked of the statement writer. +2.5 points for every embarrassing fact shared.

I'll start us off;

1. I once did the half-time crossbar challenge at St James', I missed the entire goal all three times.
2. I stripped at school, in front of teachers and pupils.
3. I know Obi Wan (the poster) in person, as in before either of us posted on the internet.

I once watched a match in a pub with two random blokes... Turned out one was Alex McLeish and one was Archie Macperson.

My nan gave a squaddie a bath once... The squaddie was called Stan. Stan Matthews.

 

Who was Paul's best friend in the Newcastle squad before he left?

Did Stan have a special reason for not being able to bath himself alone?

All three are completely true.

With McLeish it was in Bothwell South of Glasgow. At the end of the game I said 'you boys know a canny bit about football'... Then they told me who they were.
I felt so dim.
