After spending the last 10 weeks of no more than 3hrs sleep and working shifts, (I wouldn't have it any other way, I worship my boys), I was just wondering if there's any other Makems out there going through a similar experience ?
Thanks mate I am, I'm getting to the point of turning into a Zombie until they drop a feed though lol
Just wait till they start sleeping all night mate and you two are sat there like muppets with nowt to do, a good nights kip is very under rated as you well know.
I've been told that mate. I can't wait to get them their 1st season tickets. That'll probs be about 5 years time, hope we've signed Messi by then!!
I have twin nephews and 2 girls of my own 5 & 3, as hard as it seems right now, its not, enjoy cuddling those babbas, kiss them as much as you can and sing to them, they dont forget u know, its mental!
I have a 8 month old boy who is badly teething at the minute i feel your pain of sleepless nights. But like you i wouldnt have it any other way.

Danny, been there & done it mate, you always manage. Seems like yesterday when my first was born, I missed her birth as it was only a 40 minute labour, she's 18 now. My second, our Niall was the first I'd seen born. Fantastic experience. Met SKP in Durham hospital as his Julie had the twins the day before. You'll manage your shifts mate, nee bother.
I have 14 week old twins, to be honest me and mrs hit rock bottom 3 weeks back, at that stage asked for help from family, my mum came down from seaham, we started to spread feeds out, put them down at night straight away, feed in dark and tried to dictate to them (granted not the easiest). They both sleep a little longer and ok not all night but vast improvement. One piece of advice, remember to give your mrs a hug every so often......oh and enjoy the smiles from the young uns.....it goes along way to making it worth while. Still have ups and downs but know how it feels; be worth it all when you take em to their first game. Hang in there.
