Can't say I am surprised. If it wasn't about money then he would be staying at Inter by the sounds of things

the rumour going round is we'll offer a huge signing on fee to make up for the deficit in weekly wages. The initial offer with no signing on fee was to test the waters so to speak.
Would anyone on here take a weekly pay cut of say £100 if your potential boss was willing to give you £7k upfront...? Yes it is worth more but the majority of people would spend the £7k and just be £100 worse every week, massive difference when it comes to paying bills etc. And yes, I realise it is a bit different with a professional footballer
Hugely different, if its a few million pounds it can earn him a lot of what he's losing each week in interest!
Its totally different ... €100 a week cut would be disproportionate to €100,000 because the way you've tried to bring it down as a ratio doesn't take down the price of bills. e.g. Total monthly bills €1,700 total monthly wage €2,400 - the €400 = problems Footballer : total monthly bills €25,000 total monthly wage €800,000 - 50% = still good times unless you're a greedy **** (which most are tbf)
FFS lads, I wasn't trying to use it as a discussion regarding Sneijder, I was just passing comment If you earn the amount these footballers do then obviously the cash flow side of things doesn't really matter
The article says his agent wanting him to come to England. However, it only says England and not Liverpool. It may mean he didn't get the opportunity to join the "right club"
