I think it's that we didn't just give up when once you took the lead. In previous matches we would have gone on to lose 3-1/4-1, despite having our fair share of the game. This time we actually dominated the match once you took the lead.

I thought the draw was a very fair result today - if anything Spurs were the better team.

It only took the one win against them to break the hold that they had over us. The hoodoo has now been broken and there's no reason why things can't be more even between us from now on. We broke the Arsenal and Chelsea jinxes and we are now holding our own against the top teams which we were once ourselves. We can do City at home and beat Everton and beat Chelsea away. Arsenal whilst difficult can also be beaten. I just cannot see us losing to all those teams can you? Liverpool now enter the equation as they're making huge strides forwards.

WBA coming up soon and if we can win there it'll be a big bonus.

I thought we should get something out of today's match because of Man U's recent close results apart from the Wigan match. I also thought a clear penalty against Rooney. We were lucky there and lucky to score in injury time so Chelsea's luck is coming our way. Wish we could be a touch more decisive in front of goal which brings me on to the question...should we replace Ade and Defoe? I doubt even with Ade it would have made much difference and Defoe should have scored. One goal in nine now is it? Replace him AVB. You're doing ok mate.

Don't jump the gun on Liverpool, how many false dawns have they had in the last few years?

What?? Ferguson picked his team and squad before he left Manchester, you came to play like that whatever the conditions, if they'd been better do you not think our passing would be a bit crisper too? Chelsea and the Goons played in no worse. Abysmal excuse.

That's very brave of you WY seeing as they had a good 5-0 walloping of Norwich. They're gradually climbing up the table and seem to be doing ok to me.

They beat fulham 4-0 in December only to get walloped by Stoke 3-1 in their next game. You can't judge the rest of their season on one big win against a team who haven't won in the league in 6 games, Liverpool are probably the least consistent team in the league. There is a chance Sturridge may change things though, he's looking sharp.

I doubt any of the United players would say that the weather was to blame for them failing to win Luke <doh>

The conditions were not good. It didn't make for a quality spectacle, even if it was an exciting one. Whoever was playing in those conditions, the winner was going to be the side who adapted best. It finished 1-1 by the way- contrary the apparent perception that Spurs won.

Lloris has done bloody well so I'm not going to grill him because of one mistake. World class strikers miss penalties ie Messi so let's be supportive of Lloris,he's a good keeper.

Yes, but as Villas-Boas put it: "We played better, we had 61% possession and United had four chances."

Where have I ever said he wasn't a good keeper ?? And I also wasn't grilling him as you put it. I was merely pointing out to Spurf that de Gea's saves were not luck but good keeping, whereas our keeper was arguably at fault. If I had wanted to make an issue out of it, I would have wriiten an article on it.

Sorry Original Spurcat,I wasn't really aiming that personally at you but just in general. No offence meant to you.

It would cap my season if we could knock Man U out of the FA Cup.
