For future reference, it could be worth finding out which route the Middlesbrough fans used to get there. I'm guessing they had inside information to navigate through Leicester's micro-climate.
AKCJ was snowed in. There was far more snow around his house than there was around the rest of Leicester.
I'm assuming the main roads were fine. But the country roads I live around were not right. Shoot me, i'm a terrible fan.
I don't live in Leicester. But the fact it took Chris Wood an hour and a half to travel from the Marriot suggests it was hardly better with the traffic
It took Middlesbrough over 2 hours to drive down Narborough road. I walked past them on the way to the ground and I didnt get there til gone 7 Hull fans, who is higher in the table?
No, the main rounds were mad. Lorries were stuck on Hinckley road, Narborough road was chaos and Upperton road was at a complete standstill. Friday night rush hour and the snow meant people had no chance of getting to the game.
Man, this thread is boring. I can't believe we argued this long with them about attendances? Anyways, attendances don't really matter, all that matters is that we are higher in the league
If the only way in which they have any superiority on us is that more of them turn up to a midweek fixtures in the snow when their match is on Sky anyway, then I'm happy. What's that? They can't even provided any evidence to even prove this is the case? Ouch!
I drove from London to the game and it was freezing. I managed to sneak around the back streets in my car and parked up off the Narborough Road. Apparently 20k + tickets had been sold but only 8.5k managed to get there. Still, we got a very good result and are now 2nd...happy days
