Well that was annoying. That point could prove to be crucial for Spurs at the end of the season. But credit to them for fighting until the end and getting something, some of our pathetic players can learn a thing or two after watching that.
Gibbs was very good in the second half, went past his man on the wing over and over again to drive us forward. The whole team needed to be better in the first half though.
What has Real Madrid got to do with English football? He supports Arsenal (in England) and says so on his profile.
I know get heat from some here, but love or hate me, i'm usually write, as SJW himself admitted. I just say things bluntly, :-D, I used to be a member of the blinker brigade, even worst than OXO, but there's only so much you can take till you break. Join the force my friends, leave the bubble, come into reality.
So we got West Ham,Liverpool and Stoke all at home in our next three league games, need nine points or we can start waving bye bye to that fourth spot.
I don't think anybody is acting like the current situation is good enough. Who has said that ? I've asked A87 to give me some quotes to back that up and he can't, I'd like to know who has said that they are happy with the current situation. What I think is going on is that, whilst we're all upset about today's result and the general state of affairs, when people start going OTT and slagging off everything about Arsenal, claiming that we're **** etc, then people will point out that it's not the truth and not does it describe the bigger picture; not that 'everything is alright'. In fact, the 'delusionists' actually are the ones who point out what does need to change, where we do need to add strength and suggest practicable interventions, rather than just crying about it.
Fair enough - debate is healthy. However, much of it seems to descend into petty insults and immaturity very quickly. Much of the content in this thread is embarrassing.
Your not normally right at all. Your almost always having a discussion with yourself and ignoring anything anyone says to you. Your completely infuriating for peopel to deal with because you lack the ability to read and comprehend the replies made to you and then fail to put across any proper reply. You just make lots of bold statements, you don't actually take part in discussions at all. Just in this thread you have been wrong about more than one topic.
I have West ham and Stoke as wins, but Liverpool are in good form, we'll have to be at the top of our game to get 3 points. I see that as a draw, or on current form, a loss. Still, if Wenger wakes up and smells the coffee (it is fairtrade, you know, brand image and all that), we should have Diame ready to bully their midfield.
We are ****, in my book, being 22 points off the top team is ****, this ain't West Brom where that would be acceptable. THIS IS ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB. We've only beaten 1 team from the top 5, that says we are ****. Haven't beaten any of the big 3, lost most of them, we are ****. As the away fans chant, "he left cause your ****", it hurts, but true, RVP did leave us because we are ****. In fact, you have just proven what a major delusionalist you are, as being 22 points behind United is not ****, lol. No, it's greatttttttttt, isn't it?
And i'd like to apologise for my conduct this afternoon, i don't take losses as well as i used to. I think Old Age is getting to me.
Why don't you quote the rest of it? You prove your a delusionalist, because according to you, the facts I mention aren't so bad, nahhhhhhh, being 22 points behind United doesn't make us ****, no, it makes us good and acceptable. We're ****, get over it.
We just lost after a terrible performance and you're talking about looking on the bright side... I just don't understand some of you.
Even if you look beyond the top five, we have only beaten three of the teams from the top ten this season (Spurs,WBA and Liverpool), that is not good enough.
