The least Spurs deserved. A loss would have been a travesty for football. United did nothing in the game, good point for them
We were the best team by miles, 2 points dropped. Can't blame Defoe, great tackle by Ferdinand. De Gea saved them from an embarrassing scoreline.
Dempsey deserved that, brilliant game from him, IMO. Perhaps if they'd waited for the full time whistle before giving MOTM award, Dempsey might have got it? Then again Alan smith wouldn't ever have given it to a spurs player!
Really, RVP was the only difference between the sides. With a striker like him, we would have won that. Fairly easily, too!..

I thought De Gea was the difference. Without him it would have been 4 or 5 : 1. Carrick had a superb game though. Azza should have been the man of the match.
I thought that Lennon was the best player on the pitch too, Deedub. Lots of good, intelligent runs, tracked back brilliantly, looked dangerous all game, forced them into some poor fouls. Took advantage of their focus on Bale.
I'm waiting for the United fans to turn up and whine about the non penalty. Yes it was probably a penalty. But how many decisions went against us today/in the previous Utd/Spurs matches?
bunch of cheats, teams are not allowed to score in extra time its only added on for man united to score this should be investigated by the FA
Well done Lawro 1-1 as you thought. Yes,I was pessimistic and we could have won it but so could they. I think I'll just shut up for the rest of the season. I was convinced we wouldn't come back and I was nearly right. Fortunately I was wrong. I felt before the match that as Man U only beat Pool by one goal and WHU by the same score that we'd could get them but going behind depressed me and I shouldn't have let it. Well done Spurs,4 points taken from the top team.
It was a great leveller today. Difficult to play in those conditions. Rather it was Spurs than Stoke but would sooner the game didn't go ahead. Very surprising it did. You could argue that it was just about playable for the teams, but getting to/from the ground for spectators? There were loads of empty seats at the start.
Cheated never defeated that's typical of Man U. Their sheep will believe anything that comes out of that bitter red nose whiskey drinking alchy's mouth. It was a pen but United have had a lifetime of decisions go for them which no individual match could ever even out. Sky and the Man U papers fail to acknowledge how significant the Gomes/Carrick incident was in the 08/09 title race.
Gary Neville is a great pundit. Such a good point about Dempsey being very honest when he could have could have gone down and got Evra sent off. Probably was a penalty on Rooney in hindsight. Oh well a bit of luck against them finally!
I'd rather be negative and end up pleasantly surprised than be optimistic and get let down all the time
Luke - don't agree with you at all about calling it off today. Ok for the spectators it was difficult to get to and from the ground, but the pitch was fine, perfectly playable. I don't think it was a "leveller" either. I think we would more than match you in any conditions.
