I was just wondering as I had to block or ignore a person on here as they were really annoying me with the ****, but now it's got me thinking that if something happens & they post about it, will the thread be blanked too even if it's useful?
The thread isn't blanked just their post. If it's me you've stuck on your ignore list you won't be reading this and **** you.

If that makes you tired I wonder what you'd be like with a real live woman! NB I don't use the ignore feature I just don't bother responding.
Heh. Use the ignore function, it just hides that persons posts from you but you still have the option to click to see individual posts if you want. So if for example in this thread, you, wierdly, had Carmine on ignore, you'd just see a line about a post from a user you have on ignore, and an option to view that one post if you wished. It sorta falls down if someone quotes the person you're ignoring so in this thread again, if you didnt wanna see the Galantmeisters post, you'd see it in this one I quoted. Overall, ignore is well worth it if someones getting on your tits though.
I've got it now, thanks, managed to now ignore 2 people. The reason I asked the initial question was because the thread disappeared but the 2nd person I blocked the thread was still there & as was said I had the option to read the message. Happy Days.
Ah if it was that thread I never expected to get past page one but quickly descended into hell, I'm assuming our overlords deleted it.
I've never ignored anybody in the official sense of the word on this forum, though I do ignore (perhaps 'skip' is the best word) about 80% of users posts, as an estimate. I just feel the calibre of poster is declining. Too many to list for me.
