That's one RVP goal that was not painful to watch this season.

Sandro is a HUGE miss for Spurs. The guy is their best midfielder.

Our best player was Vermaelen for keeping the score down with his challenge on Ramires and the goal-line stop against Ba. That says it all really. The midfield gave us no protection. Coquelin and Diaby were beyond useless.

Mertesacker should have covered his side of the area much better for both goals. Sagna was cack, Gibbs average, Cazorla looked decent in the 2nd half but non-existent in the 1st, Wilshere wasn't too impressive today, he was very average.

Walcott at least scored, which he can always do for us. Giroud can **** off now. Szczesny could have done better for both goals, and offered his leg for Ramires to dive over. He also went walkabout for Ba's chance. He's been great for us recently though, so I can forgive Sir Chesney for one bad one.

Just to think that we have paid for Girou + Gervinho about as much as Man U paid for RVP...

Gibbs was amazing in the 2nd half. Giroud missed that one cahnc ein the 1st half, bbut did alright for the rest of the game. He had a couple of good flick ons and chances, and made that great pass to Theo that Cahill last-ditch tackled away.

look at the SPEED that these 2 teams play at , compared to the mind numbing slow sideways passing that typifies what we do now.

I guess it depends on how much you thought the team played well in that... I thought they were ****.

Sold RVP and replaced him with Giroud <doh> Great 'footballing' move. Oh, even better, chose Giroud over Ba <doh>

In the first half they were poor, in the 2nd half they played very well.

Even if we achieve top 4 this season, it's still not good enough. We have made no progress from last season, we are regressing. But thanks for proving my point, THAT YOU DON'T THINK THINGS ARE BAD AND YOU ARE PLEASED with how things are going, to you ending in the top 4 somehow silences the angry fans.

I'll find it so amusing if we end top 4 but end 15 plus points behind United and you later coming trying to brag about how we supposedly achieved something, if you think that's good, then you're a ****ing idiot.

Chelsea didn't close down as much in the second half. They also changed their tactics to defend and play counter attack. We got quite a few half chances, but very few clear cut ones. Chelsea, on the other hand, should have scored again. Compared to the first half we did well, but on reflection, the second half was average. Overall, we played ****.

OXO and who you kidding? If we end 4th, for you, you'd be ecstatic, you're one of the people who consider 4th place like a trophy. For you it would make everything all right, forget about not challenging, forget about being so far from the top, for low ambition fans as you, getting that 4th place will make you wild and start thinking you've been vindicated and that the angry fans have been proven wrong.

    I'm a champ, you're a loser, we're dealing with 2 different mentalities here.

Your too stupid to argue with. You either can't read or your brain works in strange ways. You seem to have arrived at the conclusion that i "DON'T THINK THINGS ARE BAD AND YOU ARE PLEASED" despite me having in this thread alone said things are bad enough at the moment. I've made it very clear to everyone on this forum that top 4 is the bare minimum we should achieve. It's obvious that i want the club to improve the squad and improve our performances, clearly i think it isn't good enough where we are currently and in this thread several of my comments say i am displeased with our current position.

But i'm not some fool who has to focus just on negatives and am able to see both the positive and negative sides to the club and our squad. You just moan and moan about how aweful the squad and manager and board are (basically everything about the club) without taking into account anything other than you being angry about the situation. You let your dissapointment cloud your ability to see the good things at the club.

I think the next few games could be the most important in Arsene Wengers career at Arsenal.

If they dont go well , he will have some HUGE questions to answer, and his critics will have the knives WELL sharpened.

To be honest i dont think he will have any answers .
