They are just too good away from home. Spurs started the better side but he only needs one chance whereas others may need 2 or even 3/4
Agree Thor. And united look so dangerous on the break. Normally we can keep on pressing but it's very dangerous against united as in 10 seconds you could be picking the ball out of your own net. I did say I would take a draw before the match!
Going behind at home to Man Utd is different than going behind at home against Reading. I've been dreading this happening. it's not over yet so here's hoping.
Another largely ineffective first half. Limited them to a couple of chances, but we had virtually nothing in response. Need a much improved 2nd half to even manage a draw.
Still all to play for (as they say). There is not much difference between the teams, anything could happen.
I didn't expect anything from this game so anything we do get will be a bonus. Would love an early goal for us second half to get the crowd behind us again.
I was hoping for a one goal win for us but it depended on us going ahead. We should be fresher than Utd as they had a midweek match.
And you might yet be right, but it's a bold statement when SAF has set up Utd so well to nullify Spurs' threat and it's working so far. It is mere speculation then on your part or is your thought based on something more tangible?
Yeah but this is the time of the season when they kick on and just win football matches. This is normally where we fade away.
Foy is a ****, end of. Dempsey is having a good game, other than his **** pass. He's working hard and hasn't stopped running. We are out of shape on the left because bale is in the centre too often. We need a bit of balance to help naughton out. Rafael's a hot head and he needs to be tested. Lennon MUST keep running at evra. There's been 2 awful challenges so far, one of which he's been booked for. Lennon needs to keep running at him. One thing I have noticed, kagawa looks like a nasty little piece of work. We're doing ok and we can turn this round. COYS!!
