I wish we got a few pens like that today! Stockdale seemed to think it was a harsh call on Chester. I could hardly see it from where we were sat. Have we only had 2 pens all season (Forest & Wednesday)? Should have had 2 at Blackpool especially for that shove in the back on Meyler.
Most certainly a pen mate. Tommy Rowe beat two and then was cropped by Chester and he knew it too. If it hadn't have been given it would have been a travesty!
That's not the point he's making though is it? It was a penalty, but I've seen penalties like that not be given. It would have been harsh for you not to get it - can't agree it would have been a travesty. But as GCTiger said - we've had two penalties all season. You've had four, which is the average - Palace have had 11! Those travesties you spoke of seem to happen to us quite a lot. If that had been the other way around - I doubt we'd have got it.
Getting pens is all about having cute forwards these days.. we don't seem to have one... Matty Fryatt being our best exponent in this respect..
You will be unsurprised to hear they rank fourth in the penalties given league. They've got 7, and are tied with Bolton, Bristol and Huddersfield. Only Brighton (8) and Palace (11) have received more. We're not alone at the bottom, as AKCJ has said, Leicester are with us, along with Wednesday, Wolves and Boro.
