I understand that the club founded in 2012 are calling themselves Rangers. They are a separate entity to that which was founded in 1873. If people wish to draw a distinction between the two then I don't see why you have a problem with it. Unless you have a different name that you think is more suitable.

Let me explain in simple terms.
    1. Resident pundits are different from occasional guests. Most of the people you mention are not resident, only Mudro McLeod.
    2. Scottish media does not include talk sport which is a UK programme. At least Brazil has his own programme unlike Andy Gray who makes an occasional appearance on the CHARLES GREEN PROGRAMME mid morning.
    3. Shoot magazine is UK wide not Scotland.

I suspect that in desperation you have included non Scottish programmes etc, however, in mentioning UK wide progs and pubs you highlight an issue........if they are good enough for a UK wide audience........why are they not good enough for a parochial little place like Scotland? Why are they overlooked? What do they all have in common?

    Yeah. Enough said.

Tongue in cheek Moses. I thought you would see it as such. Hope that wasn't you bristling ... if ever so slightly. :emoticon-0105-wink:

To be honest I know very little about the 'balance' of representation in the Scottish media or whatever but in my view, a substantial number of pundits are looking for full-time jobs in the media so end up trying to be a bit controversial for the sake of it - presumably they think that it makes them more interesting and will get the attention of the public rather than making them look like prats ... which, usually, is the actual case.

My job takes me out of it Pud but I will always consider it home. I go back to visit family and friends as often as I can (and am quite homesick for a while after I leave again) - at some stage, hopefully, in the not too distant future, I'll get back there permanently.

Back on topic, Pud, seriously, I'm not sure why you appear to take such umbrage at posts about Sevco, The Rangers or whatever. In my view, if they were just 'getting on with it' then certainly I wouldn't see any point in posting anything about them. However, Mr Green, et alii, are constantly and irritatingly persistent in pushing themselves into the public eye in any way they can, spinning all sorts of lies and exaggerations to try to paint a completely different picture than the true one, so are and should be fair game to be exposed at every opportunity. If it annoys you, why not just ignore it?

Cheers EC... was just being nosey.

It doesn't annoy me... I find it pathetic constantly posting about Rangers money (real or imagined) money worries.

Now, laughing at Green's statemenst is one thing (and he deserves to be mocked) but posting about their share issue and speculating that they are skint beggars belief!

Then posting about "SEVCO" conspiraices in the media/media bias is pathetic as well.... comparing how many ex rangers players v ex celtic players talk in the media - why?

If I didn't merge the threads then the front page would constantly be about Rangers... this combined thread has had the most replies n views - really, when we have a sticky about Celtic's Champions League exploit!

    Anyway...

Green will require a second share issue.
He is unhappy about SEVCO not doing a Stranraer because it makes it difficult for him to increase SB prices next season, which his business plan was based on, along with access to SPL and CL monies a lot sooner than 2015/16 and 2016/17.
His operating costs outside players, management staff etc were £18million. He can reduce this somewhat, but not by very much due to rates Tupe by staff etc.
he has borrowed the original £5.5m plus other monies at Wonga interest rates.

He must be a ver worried man and this explains the play to the gallery with orange strips etc.

If more media and SEVCO fans thought a little more deeply they would see this. Btw accounts will include SB income for forthcoming season to make matters look ok, then a second share issue and it is at this point that SEVCO fans will see another side to CHUCKY, unless they invest very heavily, which they didn't this time or the previous.

Does anyone know if the SFA have said anything about the sectarian singing at their own stadium during the QP SEVCO game ?

<laugh> I like how so many EPL fans know the exact details of every player's contract and the real state of their club's finances. If you question them it's always "you support a **** team and have no right to comment" <laugh>

Not this season - we got compared with Barceloana the other week. I think that's because our players dive a lot now though.......
