We had this conversation on here before at some point, and it turns out that Scandinavia, by the strictest definition, is Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Iceland and Finland are often included simply because of the geographical location and cultural similarities (though the Finnish actually have a lot more in common with Estonians than anyone else), but they were never politically part of it. It'd be more accurate to refer to the geographical area as the Nordics.

But that's just if you're being a pedantic smartarse. :tongue:

Or correct :p

The most common mistake is that people confuse the Scandinavian Peninsular (Sweden, Norway and Finland) with Scandinavia. It's a cultural term more than a geographic one.
 
I can't stand staying in on weekends, I've found myself the last couple of weeks not bothered to go out, but then get bored when I stay in. The joys of modern life.

I know how you feel! That is exactly how I'm feeling now. I regret not going out so much haha. All I'm currently doing to pass the time is watching the videos DTLW keeps posting and making myself sad!

I can't sleep . Mainly because our youngest cat wants to play . Snow outside so he has not been out . He is full of energy ........
 
Unbelievable tennis match. Wawrinka has levelled his match with Djokovic at 2 sets all. Brilliant tennis.
 
And of course Djokovic is in Murray's half of the draw. They are due to meet in the semis if they both get that far. If Djokovic goes out here Murray has a golden chance to make the final.
