I note that a few poster on here, including a couple of my fellow Yids, are getting slightly confused. I expected this of Mousers, following the euphoria of actually winning a game. But, please, let me lay this one to bed once and for all. Beating the likes of Norwich City does not make Goofy world class, especially when he goes missing in games against proper teams. Goofy had a good game today. He was due at least one good game, after so many bad ones. No doubt, you Mousers have been partying hard, tonight, on the streets of Merseyside. It was a good result for you, and indicates that you'll probably finish comfortably in the top half of the table. If AFC continues its bottle-job, you might even snatch their 7th spot. I'll forgive a little over-exuberance after today's win, but tomorrow I expect everyone to put everything back into its proper perspective. Yes, Suarez is an okay player, but he's not in the same league as some like, say, Fellani or Baines.
Maths is not your strong point? 90% in other words is 9 out of 10 (or even more complicated - it is 90 out of 100) - hope that make more sense to you Join Skylarker for todays lesson on 'division' and 'multiplication'.
1: I could list countless games where he's ripped them new arseholes. Did you watch the copa America? made the so called 'world class' players look like they played for Scunthorpe. Also picking up player of the tournament and a winners medal to go with that. 2: Could you name some of these bad games please? I think you may have him mistaken for Downing. HIAG - Out of interest (forgetting all the cheating etc. that you lot always go on about) would you have him playing for Spurs? An honest answer would be appreciated, and if not a brief sentence why Yours Sincerely, Skylarker.
The Mousers have very few top notch players to idolise these days, so it is understandable that they proclaim Sewerez as `world class`. They are desperately trying to hang on to their ever diminishing big club status and convincing themselves they have a world class player gives them a sense of still being with the `elite`. No doubt that Sewerez is a talented player but there are so many better players around for his position as mentioned previously. How long before Sturridge is the new Fowler I wonder, the new SAS..... Sewerez And Slurridge.
I think I could get a more mature comment from a 10 year old. Do people just use this forum to act like immature tossers away from their mundane lives? 'Sewerez'
Well, over the course of his career Aguero has played more and scored less... and won a lot less. Thought Giovinco was around 23... He's a cracking player now, but to say he's better than Luis... firstly he's not always a starter at Juve, is he? They also let him go a year ago to Parma because they weren't sure about him... Suarez has been consistently excellent since he joined Ajax.
Then don't be surprised when you find that he is not held in the highest regard. The publicity surrounding him has not been too complimentary has it!
Would I have Goofy in the Spurs team? Are you being serious? Jesus! You are being serious, aren't you! NO, I would not have Goofy anywhere near the Spurs team. He's one of the division's top goal-scorers, and yet 'Pool are still crap. That tells me that the whole team has been built around him to score goals, but not to defend properly, or to let others score goals. Any team can do that with a striker. We could have done that with Bent. But, if we had done that with Bent, (a) we would not now be challenging for a top 3 spot, and (b) it still wouldn't make Bent a world class player. Goofy is no better than Bent. Put him in a team that is set up to win more matches that it draws/loses, and he's go missing most of the time. Sorry, but I'll pass on Goofy
Oh, and I haven't even mentioned his cheating and racist tendencies! Us Spurs fans don't want anyone like that near our beloved club. We have pride and integrity.
HIAG, be honest, you've never actually watched Suarez play, have you? Comparisons to Bent deserve a big
On his day, Bent was up there with the best of them. The secret to getting anything out of a Bent/Goofy type of player, is to build the team around them, to the detriment of other, important elements in your team, such as defence, and winning games. That is what Roy Rodgers has done. The comparison with Bent is more than justified. We got rid of him because he was one of the reasons why we were floundering in mid-table, like you lot have been doing for the last three seasons.
You all wanted him when you thought you were signing him... and if he signed tomorrow you'd be delighted. Also, I think we all know he's not a racist. But, you're just point scoring as usual.
