1) Some suggest #LFC's defence is worse this year. Last season we recorded 11 clean sheets in 38 PL games. This season? Already got 9 in 23. 2) #LFC have now scored 40 league goals in 23 games. Last season we didn't hit that mark until the 33rd game (the 3-2 win vs. Blackburn).
so you're saying we are less muck than last year but still muck or are we suddenly world class or summit??
well i enjoyed reading back over the thread. great service this by chris of course. you don't realise until you can't get to see a game or two. all in all i'd love to see it on motd but won't be back home til 9 or 10 in the morning so it might be one to record off lfc tv. i hope we are scaring some sides coming to anfield after these latter good wins at home. i also hope we follow this up on the road.
Hopefully we can beat either Arsenal or City in the next few games, we need to start beating the teams above us if we have any hope of finishing in the top 6, but I'm pretty happy with the position we're in at the moment. 7 goals away from equaling our goal tally last season, we've seem to figured out how to beat the 'lesser' sides. If we can pick it up against the teams in and around us we'll really kick on. With that said, we've been in this position a few times this season only to be disappointed, so for now I'm looking forward to the match at the weekend, nothing like a good cup tie to keep you keen 9 clean sheets, 40 goals and a steadily improving run of form we do have reason to be optimistic, could of been a lot worse considering our start to the season
If we can only beat one we need to beat Arsenal rather than City. Taking points off rivals is more important. Hopefully Chelsea beat them tomorrow and West Ham can get something off them midweek. Would give us a chance of moving above them when we play them and really bunch up the table a bit.
Why not be touchy when arrogant idiots like you feel justified in making insulting comments and then get touchy yourself when somebody bites!
Really good day. Sneijder deal might actually be close, finally gave a team a thumping and we got a clean sheet. All good but we still have not beat a team in the top 10, we have to get this better especially arsenal and I think we will make life hard on city. All in all, good day.
Yet another missed game because of work, heard Hendo's goal was a beauty will have to catch some highlights after work tomorrow or on MOTD2
I heard Norwich team doctor forgot the meds that inhibit webbed feet so they couldn't move so well and shipped 5
I don't want to take anything away from you Reds, Pool were very good on the day and we got what we deserved as we didn't bother to put up a fight worthy of talking about. Not sure what has gone wrong in the last couple of weeks but there looks to be a bit of confidence missing all of a sudden. Any way, good luck for the rest of the season and hopefully we will not have to face you again this season as I am not enjoying shipping 5 goals every time we meet
