I bumped into Nigel Pearson the other day and he told me we tried to sign all of gedo, fathi, elmohammady and dj Campbell 2 years ago but they all demanded too high an asking price. So because of this I know for a fact this is complete bullshit and anyone even commenting on this is wasting precious minutes of their life. FICTIONOID
In fact he was, and I have it on good authority the mãori people pronounce their 'W' like a 'P', so the proper pronunciation of his name in his homeland would actually be 'Chris Poo' Beat that!
He should try being a fan then. As I said t'other day, who in the last five years have we actually had apart from Matty Fryatt? Maybe Marlon King, but he was a bloody loanee.
That could either be: A) A joke I've missed; B) Rowan Vine; C) Cameron Stewart, whose resemblance to a half-caste Rowan Atkinson has led to me bestowing upon him the moniker 'Coffee Bean'
No matter what you think of Nigel Pearson he isnt a bad judge of peoples character. He doesnt sign any wrong'uns
No matter what NP thinks of DJ Campbell he's a goalscorer as he has proved at Ipswich this season (10 in 17 games I think) and at other clubs in his career. Personality clash maybe - but sometimes you have to get over those things for the benefit of the club
He has played for Southampton and Forest this season which means buying him isn't possible. The only way we could possibly get him would be an emergancy loan.
Southampton have no recall option. They cant even sell him, I would imagine Forest would have paid them a fee for the loan therefore Southampton cant recall him under any circumstances. The only way for him to go back would be for Forest to send him back but they would then need Southamptons permission I think its just someone making this up because he wants it to happen
It's obviously bullshit, but if Southampton wanted him back, they'd get him back, regardless of any fee paid or whatever. The situation as it is, they'd have absolutely no reason to. Plus NP falls out with anyone who's a billy big bollocks. Great manager but I think his personality will hinder him in the prem, though you'll always have a thoroughly professional squad.
Yes he's eligible Chesh,as he has only played for one club this season(Cavalier) there has been some confusion over a lad that played for Forest and Southampton but he's Billy Sharp who used to play for Donny. This one has also played for Endyke this season. Oh wait.... does that count him out. This bona fide insider knowlege
Ive heard weve got deals agreed for Elmo, Gedo & Fahti (but not s fat as Parkin). If we dont get promoted we can get int Pyamid selling. Win-win whatever we do.
You're wrong, we introduced the emergency loan window to circumvent the FIFA rules, it's why FIFA are currently insisting that we cease having an emergency loan window at all. Sharp could come to us on a 93 day loan, Elmo could go to Cardiff on a 93 day loan and DJ can go anywhere, as he was only on emergency loan at Ipswich(I don't think either of the two emergency loans are likely).
SB said post match on RH that we have plenty of time to sort someone out in January. He said both CEO at City and DQPR just talking about DJC - I personally don't see this happening. What for me was more interesting was his comment about the emergency loan situation - he seemed to have this more in mind re a striker. I assume Sharp would be eligible on this basis? If we were to sign someone on this basis in say the first week of Feb it'll take us through to the end of the seaon with the player but will not stretch to the playoffs?
Why would Southampton re-call Sharp to them send him to us on an emergency loan deal? i dont see any logic in that for them unless we agreed to sign him permantley at a later date. OLM do you know if he has a re-call clause from forest?
