An absolute diamond, and he absolutely plays for the shirt.

2 completely different yet equally superb finishes today, the lad is perfect for us.

    Cheers Fletch <ok>

Norman Stanley was pure class & I'm perfectly happy to have been proved wrong about the lad.

    Is Norman the new SKP?

    Why not mate?

He's not likely to score as many goals in a 4-5-1, but I don't think it's wrong to have him in the same breath.

    Says enough, don't it?

His reactions for the first goal are incredible, to adjust like that is very impressive and his second, that speaks for itself.

He's so clinical... I'd go as far to say more clincial than Bent when he was here! And he brings so much more to the table with his link up play. I can see why MON was so keen to bring him

    Absolutely.
Given the right chances, I think he could be, <ok>.

He slotted his 2nd of the day away asthough he was on the training pitch.

You know what I think he is more like Quinny than SKP. He brings others into the game and holds the ball up like Quinn did when he was at his best. Remember Quinn scored lots of goals too.

He played wider last week and was devastating. Coming in from the left he creates havoc. Through the middle he is awful and I could mark him out of the game.

He simply isn't a good striker of the ball in front of goal and this heaps far too much pressure on Fletcher imo. We need to move him to the wing and bring in a proper partner for Fletcher as a priority

    Well said Billy.<cheers>

Just think how many he would score if he had a Quinny style player alongside him though instead of Sessegnon who is just awful as the 2nd striker. That 1 on 1 **** up he had at 3-1 could have cost us the game and proves beyond doubt he isn't a striker. If that chance had fallen to Fletcher it would have been hat trick; 4-1 and coasting home to victory by maybe 5 or 6.

I know you love Sess mate but he is costing us our progress imo and holding the team back using him as we are. He is a winger and nothing else for me.

Yup, left wing for Sessegnon. He creates havoc because his primary attributes are his pace and ability to ghost past a player. His shot on target is hit and miss with more miss than hit. Left wing for Sess and we would be a ****in powerhouse of a team, assuming we have another premier class red and white striker.

You hit the nail on the head 2 posts back.

Play him left wing, where he is outstanding.

I do agree he doesn't suit the role behind Fletch, but he IS an incredible player, one we'd be foolish to lose.

He is a talent mate but we are using him in a foolish way imo and we will lose him as he looks as frustrated playing there as we do watching him there. He is quite obviously unhappy as a striker and its heaping pressure on him too.

Another way would just to give him a free role behind 2 strikers and not play traditional wide men, We would need to buy someone like Sissoko and have him and N'Diaye as the midfield generals to allow sess to roam free and create havoc.

Even a conventional 4-5-1 might work mate, where he is a midfielder rather than a link man, and AJ & McLean are given license to get inside and support Fletch

    Fletch
    Mc Sess AJ
N'Diaye (what a find he looks!) Catts

Just a midfielder, with the big lad and Catts we could afford him to roam around at will, N'Diaye is going to be an absolute monster for us.

Tell you what Mons, when everyone is fit and new faces bedded in, we are going to have a wonderful selection problem here.

Can I go on record now and say without a doubt, N'Diaye is a wonderful find and could become an integral part of our development.

I agree, he's took to the Premier a-la-Cana, as if he's been here years.

Hopefully he sustains it, and goes on to become a real hero.

I'm confident he'll do just that.
