Maybe they could but they'd have to perform better than RVP until the end of the season and in more big games which will be tough.

Suarez performs week in week out, but cannot see him getting player of the year as he is a proper bad boy. Definately world class though. As a pool fan I wouldnt swap him for anyone and that includes RVP, (whos legs would fall of the moment we signed him)

He was nowhere last week in a very big game. RVP scored and set up one, winning the game.

You wouldn't swap him for Ronaldo or Messi? Apart from player loyalty I can't see why.

If Suarez is World Class then frankly so is Demba Ba.

I would swap him for Messi admittedly, although id prefer to have them both. If you look at Suarez record at International level and at other clubs such as Ajax youll see why i rate him as world class. Player of the Tournament in the Copa America. Most Neutrals see him as world class, it is only Rival fans that dont see it....strange that?

Can't say I have seen any neutrals refer to him as world class. Only Liverpool fans, no intention to doubt his ability he's very good but so far up against the better teams has struggled.

Scoring in the Eredvise can't really contribute to you being World Class, he was at the best club there and even Alfonso Alves can score **** loads in that league. 90% of pundits always mention 'world class' when discussing Suarez. Quite simply opposing fans dislike him, and that completely blinkers their thoughts on his footballing ability.

He would slot into any team in the world seamlessly, for me that means he's world class. Plus his achievements at big tournaments etc. just add to the claim that he is world class.

He's played extremely well this season but as others have said doesn't always mnake his presence felt in the biggest games. I seem to recall people saying Ronaldo didnlt deseerve to be called world class for exactly that reason.

Nobody's denying that he's a very, very good player but that doesn't necessarily make him world class. You say he'd break into any team in the world - I donlt think he'd make a world 11 to be honest. I don't see how that makes people blinkered and anti Liverpool though.

Would he really? You think he'd walk into the Real, Barcelona or Bayern team? I could be really mischievous and talk about a cvlub not a million miles away from you but I won't. Even that's subjective anyway because managers might prefer to play someone who you, or even i for that matter, don't think is as good as Suarez

World class, like legend, is impossible to define. I wouldn't have many players at that level personally. Maybe RVP and Ashley cole in England and that's about it. Then a few Barca and Real players.

All of that said, he's had to take on a massive burden this season and taken it well on the whole. Now he's getting some help he might be even better and that could then be a totally different matter

Amongst the best 2/3 in their position in the World? Maybe you could say the best handful if you're going to be generous and give out the term to 50+ players at any given time.

Tevez, Messi, Ronaldo, Giovinco and Ibrahimovic are all better forwards whilst RVP Falcao, Cavani, Aguero and Gomez are comfotably better strikers, which is where Suarez has been playing in the majority of this "World Class" season of his.

He's very skillful which is probably why you're getting a bit confused but ultimately showing great skill here and there are not the same as being able to get the better of some of the best opponents in the league. Ultimately you've been whispering amongst yourselves about Suarez being World Class for awhile but it's been difficult for you to back it up, because he's not. Now Suarez is having a much better season and getting goals you feel it's justified but it's really not, it just means he's having a great 5 months or so.

I don't like the guy, I didn't like Ronaldo either or Drogba(or their clubs) but I know a player at very top of his profession when I see one and I could confidently say they were, albeit through slightly gritted teeth. If Suarez is still playing like this in a year's time and has put in several top performances against the best sides in the League and Europe, then we'll start talking.

Yet you wouldn't say he's a better player than either, would you? So what does that tell you about a stat like that?

As I said, if he's performing against the best and still showing the consistency he's showing now, in a year's time we can talk about a World Class player.

I'd liken this to how Liverpool fans thought you were better than us last season and our equals this season. You might not like to hear it but you're not until you prove you are. It sounds obvious but the claims were never backed up during the season for a reason. The fans I was talking to on the Chelsea board just a month ago were very annoyed that I said you didn't have a chance of finishing above us unless Dembele got a long term injury or you showed you could compete for a top 4 spot by going on a winning run. In the last 2 seasons I think your record is 2 league wins in a row and you can't seriously challenge for the top 4 with that kind of form, no matter if you manage to get within a handful of points of us for a few days.

When Suarez proves he's World Class you won't see me denying it, same with the Liverpool/Spurs thing

I do watch him, that's what I base my opinion of his abillity on. Giovinco is 25 and I stand by what I said, I can understand why you want to disagree with my saying he's better but I don't see how you can argue with Aguero being a much better striker.
