Evening all. We've just had a 4.7 rumble. Haven't had one that big in a while. It was centred about 30 km from where we live but close to where I work. On Monday it will be interesting to see if everything stayed on the shelves.

Will certainly do that, W_Y. Nothing on the 'The Essentials' radar for a while though- we're down in Plumstead in a fortnight, but it's a private bash.

Had a good practice this morning. Bashed straight into Angels and licked it in two goes through, so it goes straight into the set as a one-or-two from the end sing-along thing.

Current set; bit of a mixed bag:

Rockstar Nickelback just one verse then into Ready to Go by Republica
    Bohemian like you Killers
    Because the night Patti Smith
    Learn to Fly Foofighters
    Local Boy Stereophonics
    Rolling in the deep Adele
    Losing my religion Rem
    Long road to ruin Foofighters
    Lady Madonna Fabs
Wherever you will go Can't remember
    Brown Sugar Stones
    Born to run Bruce S

The Chain Fleetwood Mac ('start your engines')
    Thunder Road Bruce S
All I wanna do Sheryl Crow
    Use somebody Kings of Leon
    Valerie various
    All these things Dandy Warhols
    Ruby Kaiser Chiefs
    Hard to Handle Black Crowes
Sex on fire Ks of Leon
    Angels Robbie W
    One day like this Elbow

    Johnny B Good
    Mustang Sally

Evening all -back in bandit county safe and sound after a great game at The Vic. Somewhat strange though as I am off the beer and had a sober day! Sitting watching Blackpool v Watford rejects - the pitch looks like a cow field. I would fancy our chances against either of them on today's performance. Have to record the FL Show tonight so watch our 4th goal a few times over.

GG - just drop me a reminder on here with a bit of notice and if I am free, I will pop along.

Morning all from a very white rural France. Glad to say I didn't stay up to watch the FL show, but when I tottered off to bed it was raining, so the temperature must have dropped and it turned to snow. Quite a heap outside now and it's still falling. The man from the meteo says it will stop about 4.00pm then tonight the temperature will rise and heavy rain should get it on the move.

Should have been out to dinner with my Forest friend, but will have to give him the link to our fourth goal so he can see for himself what proper football is like. ;)

Hope that all is well over there with the weather. Looks a bit on the cold side. :(

I think you have spent too much time listening to the BBC weathermen over the years and need a science lesson, ofh - rain can't turn into snow!

I'm sure your Forest friend will be able to 'see' what proper football is like next Saturday - show him that and he may not want to even think about the game. ;)

Morning all from a snowy bandit country - it is coming down heavy again! <yikes>

What a crock of **** that FL show is - to show that exceptional goal speeded up like that and then let that buffoon Claridge rattle on and further demonstrating what the complete idiot he is is just beyond the pale. Their editors and producers should be hanging their heads in shame - can you imagine what MOTD would have been like if that had been Liverpool or United and Arsenal?
