It will be interesting what Mauricio Pochettino goes with on Monday. I know he prefers 4231 or 4411 look so perhaps this will see Ramirez back in his best position in the free role behind Lambert. Will he change the shape completely though? Will Forren get his debut? Will Rodriguez drop to the bench at the expense of Lambert and Ramirez returning to the side? Since we don't really know what would you go with? I'd go with 4411 of Boruc, Clyne, Yoshida, Forren, Shaw, Puncheon, Cork, Schneiderlin, Guly, Ramirez, Lambert(c). I actually think we have a decent chance of winning this. The players will want to impress the new manager and continue the unbeaten run.
For those wondering what kind of tactics we will see from Pochettino, here is an analysis of Espanyol's defeat to Barcelona from when he was in charge: http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/12/19/espanyol-1-5-barcelona-tactics/ Obviously he was outsmarted by Guardiola on this occasion (helped by Barcelona's vastly superior players of course), but it's a good insight nonetheless.

Before yesterdays events my guess was going to be 2-2. Great first 30 and go one up. Everton take contol from then on and score 2 early second half goals. We rally and equalize late on.... Now I really just don't know. 2nil Everton is my guess. All this could unsettle the players and lead to a poor performance or hopefully they will be all out to impress the new manager and get a good result
Formation doesn't look too different from the one we have been playing...important to get some form of continuity
It will be interesting to see any difference in style that MC introduces. Welcome RickieRickie. But can the mods please merge this with the match thread. So many threads its messing with my ocd
Playing Ramirez in the middle wasn't the problem, it was getting the others to play off him. If Poch can get that sorted for Monday we'll see some fireworks. Plus getting Clyne and Shaw forward more, like they were starting to do against Chelsea.
Attacking full backs was a key part to our play last season. Hopefully this could become used again, Clyne and Shaw are certainly quicker than our two FBs last season!
Boruc Clyne - Yoshida - Hooiveld - Shaw Cork - Morgan Puncheon - Ramirez - Guly Lambert Subs: K.Davis, Forren, Fox, S.Davis, Lallana (if fit), Rodriguez, Lee I'd play something like that.
