Contrary to what somebody posted before, todays scores are looking pretty poor for us with Villa 2-0 up.
Ok Villa are winning but the other scores were fine. I wouldn't bet against a West Brom comeback either.
Just as they did against Fulham recently, WBA come of the blocks firing in the 2nd half, having been awful in the first. Hopefully this time though, they score more than once. Villa are, in the main, a shocking second half team. If anyone is still discounting Newcastle from this relegation battle, they surely only need look at today's result. That's an absolute shocker for them. They cannot afford to lose at Villa Park next up.
Come to this late today but, as I predict, I see West Ham are settling into their usual lower half of the league. They won't be relegated, but I still think we'll finish above them. It'll feel like normal service has resumed after a few years in different leagues. Then we'll kick on next season. They won't.
You know what football has been ****ing **** this week, if aston villa win i will just be sick of it for a bit
Surely I've done enough to redeem myself after my comments before Chelsea v QPR game. I plead with you all to rescind my horrendous punishment! Please!
Two very winnable home games for Villa in their next three games now, vs Newcastle and West Ham. A chance to get some confidence flowing through their young players, on the back of this draw. Or a chance for the lid on their coffin to be nailed right back down again.
And it's at the tail end of some demented fixture congestion as well...by the time they end their game against Everton on the 2nd, they will have played 12 games in 40 days. Curious to see how they approach the two cup games; losing both would be another blow to their confidence, but playing their regulars for both could mean wheeling them out on stretchers by the time Newcastle rolls around.
