No, Liverpool were going to sign him but decided they didn't want a racist playing for them.

I love United too much to want someone like Suarez playing for my club. I'm not exactly thrilled Rooney does.

    Exactly.

I support United the club, not the individuals.

That seems to be the difference on this forum between a lot of the United fans and Liverpool we don't seem to have a defend our players what ever they do attitude. I believe Ruff has made this point on numerous occasions love the club not the players.

Actually that's my line Style! I have long since given up on even trying to like most of the people who play for my club. I worked in sports management for a spell and quickly realised that most sportsmen couldn't give a **** about the fans, regardless of the sport. It's all about personal glory and money, which is understandable.

I find the likes of Dong compromising himself to defend a turd like Suarez, who wouldn't piss on Dong if he was on fire, bizarre and a bit sad.

I think he thinks of it as defending the club, completely oblivious to the fact the Suarez is causing alot of damage to LFC reputation.

Of course they don't its plainly obvious they are all in it for themselves which I was why i will never really understand the scousers religous defence of his actions.

Dong is just not right in the head.

That's your opinion, and you are entitled to it, but personally I wouldn't want a player at the club that isn't going to show the manager some respect. Suarez pissed on Kenny's feet with the whole handshake incident after Kenny publicly said that he had spoken to Suarez and that he would shake Evra's hand, it may seem like a minor incident but that is just a pure lack of respect for the clubs management, and he's just done that again, after Brenton has spent months supporting him saying "Luis doesn't dive" and "Luis is being vilified by the media" he goes and admits that he dives to try and win games and has another dig at the English media giving them more ammunition to vilify him, the guy has talent but he has a hint of "Balotelli" about him, he likes to be the center of everything even if it means rubbing his own club up the wrong way, a club that has already gone to great lengths to defend him.

    Yep, that's exactly it.

Same reason we think Messi's a total **** along with Ronaldo, Xavi, Iniesta, Alonso, Benzema, Ozil, Fellaini, Baines, Pedro, Yaya, Aguero, Schweinsteiger, Bale, Hummels and any number of players we wish played for us, and would much rather have in our team than Suarez. Yep, that's the only reason we all think Suarez is a tool.

You've seen right through us <applause>

    This

The deluded scousers have come across a "good" player amongst a sackful of dross. They now think that the whole football world (United, City, and any top club) would love to have a racist rat faced cheat playing for them. Tikitaka has up to now tried to defend him: 'he is lovely, he doesn't cheat blah blah' Why happens next? He slaps Rodgers in the face like he did Dalglish. He said he deliberately cheated totally undermining his manager. No wonder tikitaka is fuming and is threatening to punish him. How? We'll just have to wait and see. All rat face needs to do is say he wants to leave and Rodgers will be on his knees...<ok>

    irrelevant

'reputation' doesn't matter. Only the appearance of success.

    Sad but true.

If you're satan and appear successful then you're valuable to sponsors. PAY DAY!!! And that money funds more success.

If you're the right hand of god's good side and the key to world harmony but fall short then fuc* off. Advertising cash only pays out to those who can be associated with 'success' and that is used to sell products no one needs at a massive profit.

    oh well.

boys (except Giggs) kick round balls at nets and multinational corporations are the real winners.

Getting a bit of a tired subject now to be perfectly honest.

So what? The more you talk about him just keeps him on this board, personally I would now rather ignore the bloke.
