If he has got debts according to rumours then let him earn money somewhere else to pay em off.
We are going down without a doubt so get in DeMatteo now if he will take us on.

Pards has just said Cabaye asked to come off as he felt his groin... Looks like he was rushed back and may now be out for a bit.

I reckon that if there's a proven alternative (Eg. Blanc) then it may well be worth doing to put some impetus back into your season.

If he's looking at a Pocchetino (sp), Hughes type then I'd leave Pardew where he is!

For someone that spends so much time on the SAFC board giving out advice you have some neck.

Backed him throughout, I want stability, the club needs stability,....would be grand if we had another month amd/or the luxury of changing manager in summer, but think he has to go now to have any chance of staying up..and we need 3 more players in (like we all bloody knew in the summer)

The only problem I see is who would want the job with Ashley and Flashharry Lambias..LeBlanc no way would he, Di Mattio iam iffy about him...Adkins Possible, ........Hughes ..oh sweet jebus no

Its an absolute dog's dinner atm

Whilst l don't understand much of what Pardew does anymore regarding subs and tactics and l really want this abomination to stop, l have to ask myself what effect sacking him now would have.
I worry that the players would simply give up completely, unless he really has lost them
Who is going to come in and replace him
Who is going to come in, knowing how difficult it can be to work for Ashley and Co
It's so very difficult to know what to do for the best, so even though l am not at all sure, l think he needs to stay. Finding it hard to have a rational thought right now, just a bit shell shocked and so depressed by all this.

As I've been told for the past month...... <laugh>

Undecided though really, there just isn't anyone to replace him with.

Simple. Out for me. I think he fluked his way to 5th last year and I have been looking at the wonder-signings this season and asking myself how good they are. Obertan, Bigi, Tiote have been poor, he perseveres with absolute crap - did Ameobi touch the ball over those 90 mins? Williamson should be nowhere near the side after his season, Cabaye should be coming off the bench, not heading to it, if he's not fit enough for a full 90. Marveaux should never be coming off and we ended that match with a midfield who have assisted in next to no league goals all season.

It's a shambles and whilst I don't condone the Southampton situation, ours is different - the club needs a shot up the arm and fast. I think Gandalf said something in another thread about the style of play, or lack thereof, and it just gets worse. Even when our best XI have been on a pitch, it's been awful. I shudder to think where we might have been had Chelsea come calling in August for Ba. Given the rescue job Ba did for Pardew, enough is enough.

Well, there would be no big name, that's for sure. No Hitzfeld, no Heynckes, and so on. But we've stabilised the books, so surely we're attractive? Good squad, a French manager must fancy a crack?

That said, I am pretty sure he won't be sacked. It's the kind of awful decision I'm used to from the owner.

I fear you're right on this one. Allardyce got sacked purely for the ****e we played, as well as the fact he wasn't Ashley's 'man'. But at least we didn't look in danger of going down. Which means, Ashley will almost certainly keep his 'voice on the ground' in situ.

After-all, Pardew has 8 more years to pay back his debts...

Can't see anyway of him turning things around. You'll either go down or limp across the line. You have some very very good players and relegation shouldn't really be a concern, surely? The problem is there is a lack of people out there at the minute who I think could come and do your squad justice. Perhaps he is a victim of his own success achieving soooo much last season.

Although, big names are nobodies at one point. But for everyone that comes good, theere are countless numbers that don't.

OH! Here's a thought, Adkins. Did well at Soton after the previous manager left them 22nd in League One- who was that again?

It's not about players any more. We've played the same today as the rest of this terrible season - and that's down to the coaching staff and the clueless Pardew who I thought looked sick of his life after about 3 games had gone this season. He looked desolate, as if he had just presided over a run of one win in 12 games or something but we were doing ok at the time. It's like managing the club to get sacked so he can walk away and do something useful with his life? Sounds mad but I don't think he's happy at all - you can see it in his body language. And if your manager at work doesn't care then that's hardly going to inspire you to give your all is it?

We need a hungry manager - one with something to prove. Adkins is doing nowt right now.

After many years of supporting NUFC through thin and thin times I've eventually had enough.

    If Parpoo stay's, I go!

I can't take any more of the rubbish he's serving up!
