The game is scheduled to take place at Anfield on Saturday 19th January 2013 with a kick-off time of 3PM. English T.V won't be showing the game but streams showing the game are posted in this thread. Preview. It wouldn't be a Premier League week without us talking about Luis Suarez. Brendan Rodgers was refreshingly honest in relation to the Uruguayan's comments that he deliberately dived to win a penalty earlier in the season against Stoke. I'm sure the Liverpool boss wishes he only had to respond to Suarez matters on the pitch, as there is no doubting the quality and influence of their leading scorer. Norwich certainly don't need reminding about that. Suarez has scored back-to-back hat-tricks against them, including a sublime effort from the halfway line that I was fortunate to witness at Carrow Road last season. Indeed, one more goal for him against them will take him to the 20-goal mark for the season - and given some of the chances he's missed along the way, that figure could and maybe should have been higher. Crucially for Liverpool, they suddenly have options to try and relieve the burden on him. Daniel Sturridge's start has been encouraging and Fabio Borini's return to fitness could be timely. They'll certainly look to build on the final half hour from last week at Old Trafford. The Reds have won five of their last seven league games at Anfield, scoring 14 and conceding just four. That's much more like the home form they both expect and require. In comparison, Chris Hughton's side are in need of a lift after just one point from the last 15, an untimely run having previously gone 10 matches unbeaten. Grant Holt's influence has been missed in a squad that is still short on Premier League experience, and they'll be acutely aware that - if they continue like this - they could be dragged into the relegation battle. This is the type of fixture that Liverpool have so often struggled in, as last season's draw with Norwich shows. An early goal could be the key. The last time I was at Anfield they failed to find one, and Aston Villa upset the odds, but it would be a big ask for Norwich to repeat that. - Match preview taken from http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20996627 - Injury News. Bit of a botch job this week i'm afraid. Had absolutely no time to even consider doing my own preview for this game so I've taken the BBC match preview.
I don't know how to do the motivational baby from my phone so someone else needs to get that little bastard up.
i have the following Reina Wisdom Skrtel Agger Johnson Henderson Lucas Gerrard Suarez Sturridge Sterling hardly rocket science to pick it but there you go..... allen out hendo in.. sturridge in for downing. It'll be interesting to see what we do with it... I'll miss it of course... travelling home today. I would hope the midfield 3 is a genuine 3 who cover the wings and allow a genuine forward 3 to interchange fluidly. sturridge and suarez can link up well... sterling... not so much... I think we need to help the kid out by pushing him on more and playing the bal lto him not having him play the ball. Lets hope for a good day!
bib theorists put borinin in ahead of sterling http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/pre-norwich-training-photos I expect borini to come on but wouldn't really care either way. Its safer for him to come on than sart v fresh fit players.
Excited to see Sturridge start at least. Been a bit secret about Borini's fitness should he start, was surprised he was on the bench last week, let alone coming on.
the bib theorists need to think on as sterling AND borini are in orange. so are sturridge and suarez.
Dev its gotta be let's ****ing do this! Haha. I have seen 2 different line ups, one with borini in so all 3 forwards and one with sterling. I have also seen in the same ones Lucas starting and in the other he was not. Either way, come on reds, intae these these are well ****e.
Reina injured? Jones, Wisdom, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Suarez, Downing, Sturridge Bench: Gulacsi, Allen, Borini, Sterling, Shelvey, Robinson, Skrtel
