I have tried to attach image of this, looks as though he is expecting a move. My guess would be Newcastle, being that he's a local guy and they need a striker. For those who can't open the attachment or use Twitter: "There is stuff in the press about moves ...don't believe it till I tell u all ..iam under contract !!!!" I'd feel strtangely happy if he were to go the EPL, he seems like a good guy and has been brilliant for us the last two seasons. Hopefully he won't get the same sort of grief that a few of the other lads have had when they left COYH
Could it be the press putting 2+2=5 with Newcastle though? He's there because its home press may have made another assumption.
If he goes I hope we eill get a fair price for him plus whatever we owe carlisle in sell on fees! If we cant clear at least 5M we should tell them to stuff it! I feel plenty of other offers for Danny just around the corner!
I don't think he will get any stick - we understand that it is important for the club to get some money in - he has not been disruptive or asking to move on
he won't get stick at all, he's been great for our club, and the revenue we get will be great too. i've heard ã5m from Newcastle, but at the mo it's all rumour and speculation, and yep, i saw that tweet too
ã5m is getting closer to the mark, dont like the 2.5m that is being bandied about in some reports!
His first four or five games here coincided with the contrasting departures of Tommy Smith and Mike Williamson to the very same club. I'm sure he knows exactly how to handle what many consider to be the inevitable.
One of those rarities a footballer who is a really nice genuine bloke, I hope he doesnt get corrupted by the prem (and I am sure he wouldnt!) The Badgers would be getting a real quality lad and on the cheap
Well if he goes he must go for in excess of 5 million - he's worth it. His work rate, unselfish teamwork & clinical finishing mean he's grown up & will now succeed in the Prem. I hope he stays one more season to see if we can put it all together but if not I'm confident those in the shadows will step forward & become the new hero's.

I wouldn't have thought Carlisle had a sell on clause on him? He did leave them after running out the contract yes? Would've thought a fee would've been the end of it.
Wasn't there a chance for us to pay a fee Carlisle were happy with outside of court? But we went to court and ending up paying more.......? Sounds like a howler considering how much it'll cost us if Danny leaves.
Thank you - yes I've posted on 606 for a couple of years I guess. Using the same name - give or take a zero - that was because I forgot my password 3 times on 606!
