I'm going for a 2-0 win to the lads. I was there last January when we we thumped them 4-1 down there and we have a better team imo now. What about your game Albert? Any nerves or an easy win? Reading showed last week they have massive spirit and fight, even if they totally rode their luck for 80 mins of that game. If its 0-0 at half time I think a few natives might become restless over at NE1 but if you score early you may run riot. Thats why we are all still scrapping down the wrong half of the table in January. You just don't know what team will turn up from EITHER club on a week to week basis.
The big question is "which Sunderland will turn up today?"...If we play to our potential I believe we will win, but I have a feeling it will be a draw today, which is by no means a disaster..
Well a win today could possibly lift us to 11th. Not optimistic but here's hoping. Can't see there being many decent streams today so looks like the radio & updates on here. Anyone got any official team news yet?
These are the games we need to win to push for a top10 position - win the home games, sneak the odd away game. 1 - 2 to us, fletch and Larsson.
Tough game against a misfiring Wigan who no doubt will raise their game today. Settle for a point now if I'm honest a win would be nice but, an away point will do it.
Id take a draw today but hoping we sneak it. If we win we put some real ground between us and the drop zone
For the gamblers here's the match odds. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/wigan-v-sunderland/winner
A draw should move us up 2 places above Norwich and Fulham (they have tough games) if we win we would be 9 points clear and that is a massive gap, but we should continue good form rather than last seasons rubbish run in, and we should be targetting 50 points.
Radio Newcastle have the mags game on DAB so if you want to listen to ours you'll have to put it on FM or the net.
All Sunderland.Guess who score next??? Hahaha, Mcnally."4800 lads down there, 500 with no tops on" well done (just the 4800 bit)
