    TEAM NEWS

Watford will have a pitch inspection at 09:00 GMT on Saturday morning.

Midfielder Jonathan Hogg and defender Fitz Hall (both hamstring) are unlikely to feature for the Hornets, while Tommie Hoban (Achilles) is a doubt and Connor Smith (knee) will not play.

Huddersfield are winless in the league in 11 matches and defender Joel Lynch is still out with a hamstring strain.

But winger Danny Ward is expected to return after a five-game lay-off with a knee injury.
    MATCH FACTS

    Head-to-head

    • A late penalty from Troy Deeney gave Watford a 3-2 victory in the reverse fixture in September, and denied Huddersfield the chance to go top of the table.

    • This is the 10th league meeting of these clubs at Vicarage Road. Huddersfield have won three, drawn three and lost three of the previous nine.

    • Three home points for the Hornets would give them a first ever double over the West Yorkshire club.

    Watford

    • This is the 600th home match in second level league football for sixth-placed Watford, who are chasing a fourth win in five league games.

    • The Hornets have scored nine fewer home games than away (20-29), but still boast the best goals per game average in the Championship of 1.88 and are just one goal behind the top scorers Crystal Palace on 49, with a game in hand.

    • If selected, Troy Deeney will be making his 100th league appearance in Watford colours.

    Huddersfield Town

    • Simon Grayson is hoping his Huddersfield charges will reproduce the away form on display in knocking out Charlton from the FA Cup, in this league trip to Vicarage Road so that the longest current winless run in the Championship of 11 games comes to an end.

    • The Terriers have chalked up one league win on the road since early October, courtesy of a 1-0 triumph at Barnsley on 10 November, and have only managed one point from the six matches played so far, away to top-half clubs.

    • The club with the second longest goal scorers list in the Championship (16 players to Middlesbrough's 17), have also picked up the most cards; 53.

    • Huddersfield and Watford are two of the three clubs to have been issued with four red cards in this Championship campaign. Nottingham Forest are the other.

Cheers mex. I will try to do one for next week, but unless work dies down I might struggle.

I will be up at 8:55 to check the updates and will be down the Vic with shovel in hand if needed to offer my assistance.

Trouble is overconfidence breeds complacency. 2-1 lucky win for the horns.

Playing at home against a team in the bottom half, after a very good away win... hmm reminds me of just a couple of weeks ago! I think this will be another tough game, and will happily take a 1-goal win! Will go for 2-1 (athough think I did put 3-2 in the predictor league)

game on, I will also go 2 1 with a bad performance where we scrape through. 1 0, 1 1 then a late winner. Just hope Vydra starts frustrates me when a player of that quality sits on the bench

I too think this could be a tough win - thankfully we are not likely to be over confident as our home form has been "iffy". Zola needs to find a home formula that is as effective as his away one - but I am hopeful for today

Lending my brother my season ticket for the day. Struggling with the cold as it is.

As I'm not going, we can safely count on a comfortable 5-0 win.

If anyone on here wants them, just say and I will meet you at the turnstiles in the rookery and hand them over.
