I got to Frankfurt only an hour late, and plane to Japan looks on time. Makes getting up at 2.45 sort of worthwhile. Even my son was saying 'why are you bothering to go to bed.' I put it down to the engineering genius of the Brummies. Debate.
If Joey's statement were true, then only 3% of Britain [sic] would think that HE'S an idiot.... I reckon it might be a few more than that. If his intellectual legacy consists of illiterate tweets about positive selection and breeding laws then he's been beaten by a vast number of ranting pub conversations. Given that he only has to work for about 5 hours a day, so realistically has the time to engage in philosophical and cultural enrichment, I think he should be doing better than he is. If he is remembered in 50 years (which is doubtful) it'll be for stubbing a cigar out on a teammate and that just speaks volumes for the man.
