Can the Swans get back to winning ways after the midweek defeat against Arsenal? With the Swans already drawing 6 matches at home and Stoke showing an equal number of away draws this has got D written all over it....
I think a draw is realistic but a win is very much achievable at the Liberty. One for the bigger, more physical lads in the squad. Kemy, Ki, Bartley etc.
He's been with us long enough for the jury to be in. I like Agustien and always have. To comment on recent performances when all our players apart from the defence have been poor is unfair. He is the closest we have to a physical presence in midfield and he has a real eye for a pass.
I don't disagree but considering the lack of game he had under Rodgers (Admittedly some through injury) amd the opportunities he's had under ML I just think he could do better and therein maybe the problem ,he's not playing regulaly enough ? Bartley has only now really been able to show his worth. I'm not one looking for a scape goat, some of the regular starters have not played to their full potential recently .But out of the three named in Stevejack's post Kemy was the one who I felt could do better imo
With Kemy out + two other "big names" in injury doubts(according to ML) this can get very ugly for the midfield. We are favorites but I have my doubts. 1-1
After 5 o'clock today ,if we go not win ,expect you know who to say - I told you so! However if we win then it will be -we were very lucky etc ,etc.Jobes comforter.
Swans: Michel Vorm, Angel Rangel, Garry Monk (capt), Ashley Williams, Ben Davies, Ki Sung-Yueng, Jonathan de Guzman, Michu, Wayne Routledge, Pablo Hernandez, Itay Shechter. Subs: Gerhard Tremmel, Dwight Tiendalli, Kyle Bartley, Leon Britton, Roland Lamah, Nathan Dyer, Danny Graham. I see Jones is sub for Stoke. Interesting!!
