Anybody think that Remy might remove serious pressure off Adel?

I couldn't see where we would get enough goals from to secure our survival over the last few weeks. Adel has fought valiantly away on his own but I just knew that Mackie, SWP etc etc would not score enough. I really think that the signing of Remy will take massive pressure of Adel and free him up to do what he does best. Excited.

Hope Harry is brave enough to play Adel 'in the hole' behind Remy...

We will have to wait and see, one thing for sure is we will need Remy to be a success for us and score the goals to keep us up

We need to get some potency up front and that would be the way to do it.

Not bravery, common sense. If Adel can find him, as he has done with SWP recently, then if he is as good as we hope, we'll be just fine.

If these 2 strike up a good partnership / relationship then they could really cause some damage...but if they dont..then god help us, they have the ability to be abysmal....

Here's hoping for good times !

Lets hope he hits the ground running. Spending big money on a striker doesn't guarantee goals, ask Chelsea.

Why is everyone getting so carried away about Remy?.Ok,he looks a better than we have, but he still needs service that hasnt been coming. The lone striker role hasnt worked, even with Tarbs behind. I think Harry should bring in Zamora to play with Remy and at least give us 2 chances to score some goals!. We might have Remy, but we still have Clint Hill,Mackie and Derry who for all there hard work, are just not good enough.

Sure ................ but I'm thinking Remy doesn't wear make-up, fake tans and hairbands.
Come to think of it, I think Torres has stopped with the fake tans.

I agree that Remy will be an instant hit with two goals in the first half.

I think he'll get the service but the fact is, to get anything like the goal and points haul we need, Remi's gonna need to be pretty prolific.

His record says he's anything but that.

I was expecting a quality striker in to ADD to Cisse, not replace him. Surely 'Arry's not gonna stick at just the one? What happens if he gets injured or suspended - like Cisse did last year? What happens if he's a damp squib - like Cisse was this year?!

Taarabt had some nice killer passes over previous matches and even Granero with over the top balls but the thing is SWP was at the end of that passes and he couldn't do **** with the ball .And you say lone striker role hasn't worked but we had lazy motherfucker Cisse and I don't ike football Zamora. I think we'll be far more dangerous with Remy
