So your willing to ruin Southampton FC over one guy, I'm glad not many see this view. You may not be happy but there are many other ways to show your support for Adkins.

 

You're obviously not a season ticket holder - they can't get refunds.

A lot of fickle fans who have come out now we're in the premier league seem to be quite upset about Adkins. People need to remember back to when Pardew went.

 

Oh come on, how long ago was it that we were struggling at the bottom of the Championship, playing terrible football, with Jan ****ing Poortvliet in charge? Not long ago at all. This may have been a **** day for the club, but it's still a hell of a lot better than that was.

 

Not really comparable situation. The Southampton Fc we watch today is down to Nigel Adkins, it was his team and his project. It will take me a very long time before I can even consider accepting a new manager.

 

Sorry mate didn't realise being a Uni student at the other end of the country and not being able to afford a season ticket made me a fickle fan. Wonder if you were there when we had to chuck money into buckets just to keep the club alive. Even though it turned out fine when Pardew went doesn't mean it was the right decision. I would rather stand up for my morals than be walked over by someone who thinks he has power. Have followed Southampton into Administration, have followed Southampton into League 1 but I will not follow Southampton into this.

 

Is there any way possible that we can get this man back at the helm of the club ? Great injustice has been done and we can't just sit back and take it on the chin as it were.

 

Mate! This isn't like fans choosing to buy an iPad or a android tablet. We are Saints fans and that is all we want even if we get battered and bruised

 

Agree I support Support Southampton no matter what fans of other clubs say, but when the people running the club you love take advantage of you something needs to be changed

Boycotting matches won't get Adkins back.
If you feel strongly enough to not go to a game again then fine by me, but I'm loyal to the team and the club.
Players, managers and chairmen come and go. Some are loved more than others but this is the gift and the curse of being a football supporter

Are you sure you're a Saints fan?, compared to the **** Lowe did this is easy.

 

I think you'll find I have always largely backed Nigel, he is one of the very few things I still supported through our tough opening months.

 

I'll try to stay respectful because I don't want to annoy TSS again, but what choice do we have but to take it on the chin? Some may see that as "typical English lack of fight" but it isn't, it's just logic. What will protesting do? Waste a lot of time and energy getting angry about nothing. Signing a petition? Just a waste of time. Cortese, Reed, whoever it was has made up their mind and that's that. I'm all for supporting a cause, but not a pointless one. The best thing you can do is to support your team because we need results. Pochettino is a good manager and by all reports, a good guy. He won't be as quirky or lovable as Adkins and we're all going to miss him an awful lot... but come on. We're Southampton supporters, so let's support the team, rather than trying to think of ways to fight against it.

 

Didn't we hire one last month?. Hardly had the best of starts.

I don't think that'll be happening for a couple of days. I might take a little break from this website until people are done posting their whiny, passive-aggressive complaints.

 

I've stopped myself checking his page, shouldn't he be celebrating? Didn't stop bitching and moaning about Adkins and his selections.

 

I've been standing up for the club a lot today, but public relations have been appalling for a while.
