I would assume they have to move the snow before turning it on. Otherwise it would melt and bog up the turf.

@foxblogger: Tonight's attendance (8,585) is unsurprisingly the lowest ever for a league game at the Walkers/King Power Stadium. #lcfc

Did you go Proud? Didn't see you post during the match. What the Hell was the atmosphere like? It's not like it was a near-pointless cup match and it was really exciting, so it must have been strange!

    Yeah I was their

The atmosphere at the start was a little weird but in the second half it wasnt that bad considering how empty it was. Where i sit is surrounded by STHs and none of them was there. I practically had the row along with my brother to ourselves

Nice effort! Would serious have considered going if it wasn't on Sky, even if I had to crash at a relatives overnight. I haven't checked to see if the trains were running, but they get delayed for next nothing so I bet there were problems with this weather. You have to give credit to the Boro fans though - amazing so many made it - I've seen smaller away crowds on fine days without Sky coverage!

Top marks to the ground staff for getting the game on. Considering how bad the roads where on the way the Stadium was very well maintained. I always walk to the KP and it takes me around 45 mins to an hour. Thats why the snow didnt effect me too much other then freezing my bollocks off

No one can say anything to people who didnt go as the conditions where horrendous. Anyway who would have to have gone by car would have had a very difficult journey. On Hinckley road there was cars and lorries abandoned at the side of the road

Liam Moore, David Nugent, Martyn Waghorn plus other had to abandon their cars and walk to the stadium. Anthony Knockaert had to run from the train station

Top marks to the Boro fans. Decent following considering the weather, Sky and it being on a friday night
