BillyBoy I think you have been taught the wrong definition of cowardly. A coward is comeone who retreats and backs down from their ideals after threats and intimidation. Lennon was given death threats from N.I. fans with his only crime being trying to do his best for the N.I. jersey, but he kept playing. He was assaulted by a cowardly gang in Glasgow, it didn't deter him. He has people try to assault him, thrreaten him and his family and has bombs sent to him yet he carries on. Far from being a coward, Lennon seems to be a remarkably headstrong and resolute individual and I think it is this trait, far from any action he may have committed, that winds up and infuriates the typical knuckle scraping scot and N.I. loyalist more than any other.
