    Watch the vid, watch the pics, the blood is real. The camera is pointed at Pieters all the way through the hall way. And it was reinforced glass.

    Have to try and get in early because I don't know what the bus situation will be like, don't really fancy driving in. I can walk to Newcastle from my house in 2.5 hours, in the snow it might take up to 3.5 hours and I'll have to go in wellies, so hopefully the bus service is on <ok>

    Bit harsh getting sent off for that... Or is it just me?

    Also, did the ref say "early bath" or "blood bath" to him? I think he might have misinterpreted...

    Dutch ref interpreted as a tackle from behind, not aimed at the ball but at the ankle, which is a red card according the UEFA rules. Dutch refs are a lot stricter than English. Anyways at what time in the vid did you hear blood bath so that I can look it up.

    Latest report is that his wounds needed surgical stitching in the hospital because the cuts were to deep to use regularly stitches.
